It's a f***ing huge story if it happens, she's been the boss since 1952, for most she's the only monarch in living memory. I remember reading that Charles might not go by the name Charles is he becomes King.
Wouldn't you say Lizzy is the outlier for her relative saneness?Hehe. Seriously, it will be gold if Charles becomes king. It will be like the nutty kings of yore.
Hats off to you for finding a segue between the abdication of of Queen Elizabeth and Australian government debt.An inability to foist $200bn of debt on Australians which is a bloody good start.
Why not Arthur?
If he's going to convert to Islam, he may as well bring back Arthur.Tradition. Heirs get Arthur in their name, but not first, and don't use it.

Also interesting to note that the public are fairly split re her continuing, Charles taking over or him getting bypassed for William.

Really? Aren't most flocking back to Catholicism?Quite a few. Just too busy running the country to attend services. Leave that to the pigeon flyers.

All the blokes running Australia are Catholic.
No. One or two loudmouths, that's about it.
Same as ever. And how is that working out??

Even the Archbishop of Canterbury admits CoE is a moribund religion. Britain is now majority Catholic. And Islam is the UK's fastest growing.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1573452/Britain-has-become-a-Catholic-country.htmlHardly. Christians around 60-70% of population. Catholics only around 10%.
Just out of interest why is it not "Persons Day"?Stop the presses.
Potential change of chief professional ceremonial ribbon cutter.
Whoever mentioned Womans Day is spot on. They would love it.

Seems a bit sexist that only women deserve thousands of print inchs of inane lollygogging over the gormless royals.
Surely there are just as many suitably mind addled men who want to fill their heads with the mental anesthesia this journalistic mulch offers.
