I hope your club suffers some horrible misfortune too and I'll return the favour

Typical donialist behaviour.

Yep, *essendon "suffered" a horrible misfortune.

Newsflash, instigating a doping regime isn't suffering a horrible misfortune. What Neale Daniher is going through is a horrible misfortune. What happened to Troy Broadbridge was a horrible misfortune.

Had the same reaction. A misfortune isn't what happens when several senior people appointed by the club choose to take it down a path, and players choose to follow. Supporters are unfortunate - the club, not at all.

Poor Lance, looks like he needs a cuddle. Although I think he's looking in the wrong place. The HTB is full of 'think the children' types.
He needs to come here to feel real sympathy. :D
Showing his true colours.

There's only two or three through the journey who I'd feel sorry for.

JAMES Hird labelled Sam Mitchell’s jab jibe on Saturday as “naive” and “idiotic”.

But, according to three-time Brisbane premiership winner Jonathan Brown, the Bombers coach is throwing stones while living in a glass house.

That is because both Hird and his Essendon side taunted opposition players with their own supplements barb almost 15 years ago.

Brown recalled during On The Couch how Essendon’s players wore black bands around their forearms during the 2001 Grand Final in response to the Lions’ controversial intravenous drip program.

Brisbane had rehydrated themselves using the drips throughout the season, before it was banned by the AFL entering finals.

In protest to their program, Essendon’s players wore the armbands as a taunt, similar to how Mitchell had mimicked using an imaginary needle towards Bombers players over the weekend.

“It was quite interesting,” Brown said in relation to Hird’s scathing comments on Saturday.

“I do recall back in 2001 when Essendon played Brisbane (in the Grand Final). They actually wore black armbands around the area where you would have a drip inserted in your arm.

“Of course, the Lions had drips used on us throughout the season, certainly not in the finals.

“The drips contained salt water for the hot days up in Queensland, so hardly performance enhancing.

“When the whole team goes in with black armbands, where we were wearing band aids, talk about idiocy ... That was idiocy.

“To be focusing on that during the Grand Final, it certainly did them no favours on the day because we got the chocolates.”

Look at that photo of Chris Scott necking *hirdy's hand. Dirty bastard.

Apparently the black arm bands were worn as respect because Michael Long did his hamstring at the final training session, sounds legit :p
And they were so fatigued from that training session that they couldn't raise their arms above elbow height to apply them.

However they are unable to find the medical report that confirms this injury. But they did supply this photo of Michael Long tearing his hamstring.

Seems legit...
