Tipping Carolina but now hope the Broncos win. Getting behind the underdog and old man Peyton one last time

Yeah same here. Dont get the Peyton hate, seems a decent guy, decent humble family.

Two great defences, but would like to see Manning, Kubes and Phillips win through.

40 on the #1 defence?
The most they gave up all season was 34 away to Steelers. Next worse was 29 v Chiefs and they were -5 on takeaways! And missing Ware and Talib.
Broncos had a much tougher schedule than the Panthers who had the league's easiest. Blowout theories are outlandish imo
Probably so, I just see them scoring early, quickly, before they adapt. The Broncos are never out of it because of that defence, can't see Manning doing much with a long field but if the defence makes enough plays he'll get points.

I just think it's a fascinating matchup and the media should be making more of that. They're starting to wake up to it a bit now

Super Bowl I, with Max McGee scoring a TD.
Compare the crowd atmosphere with Super Bowl L

I cannot believe it.

Just heard we are having new pathway lights installed in our complex Monday morning and the power will be off for a time.

Bet it is the only time the bastards turn up when they are supposed to!

It is going to be hot in Perth...invite them in for an early ale may be a plan.

Suggestions and advice eagerly sought.

All the power? If they are just working on the lights it might be just a lighting circuit isolated and stuff like power points could be still on.

Afraid so Kram.

The original contractor was guilty of a spectacularly bodgy job (3 quoted firms have said the same) and they want to shut the power source down.

Fair enough too considering some of the awful events of the past.

Ah well...can always head to the casino or the Inglewood and take advantage of their air-conditioning.

And fall in love no doubt with the random knockout serving drinks.

Anyway... defence v Cam and the old man Peyton factor.

I hope Peyton is not humilated.

People often cite the Panthers "softest SOS in history" when downplaying the 15-1, but the 5-0 vs SB winning QBs offsets that.

Meh, I don't buy the softest SOS thing anyway. They topped the South last year so they had to play Seattle and Green Bay regardless (who they beat), they beat Indy with Luck playing, and Romo started when they played Dallas.

Pats played the AFC South and NFC East too, yet you didn't see anyone questioning their schedule.

So again we go back and remember....the team went 15-1, beating previous SB winning QBs in the process 5-0. So together it's an ominous stat. The Broncos and Manning could fall apart like SB 48 if things start off shaky.

See. I like Starburns. Even if he doesn't like NASCAR.

EFA.

True, it just seems pointless to criticise their schedule, this isn't college football where your resume can be bloated without signature wins. Int the NFL, you're going to run into seriously good teams no matter what. Also, I know it's regular season, but the playoff win in Seattle makes them 6-0 on the year.

Broncos definitely need to be composed, ball security is critical, I'd go as far to say that a single turnover and they don't win.
