Oh come on Dirty Bird, I thought we were on good terms mate! :p

Apart from that, was interested where you placed Palace (essentially the best of the rest in 8th), Scumberland way too high given their lack of quality (Jordi Gomez lol) and West Ham finishing last.

Southampton in 13th also caught my eye - reckon they'd still finish top 10 (provided the funds are reinvested wisely).

Cool, didn't realise we were going to start this this early. I'll keep track of everyone's tables like last season.

If Mods want to edit this into the opening post:

Tables will be accepted up until the closing of the Transfer Window, which does mean that people will have the benefit of the first few games of the season being played. I will go through this thread the day after the Transfer Window is closed to make sure I have the most up to date tables from everyone, and from then on I will be ignoring any submissions in this thread in the form of new tables.

In the EPL, you need to expect the unexpected.
I've tried to project that.

This projection will either be beautiful or awful come seasons end. Either I hit the correct unexpected scenerios, or I miss.
But there will be something unexpected. Who knows? Newcastle might go 08-09 on us again.

Swap West Ham and Villa for a start. Some very odd finishing positions you have.

And no way so many teams will get sub 40.

Those were my thoughts as well, its too lopsided. Also there's no hope in hell of Palace getting 66 points, they'll easily finish in the bottom half of the table this season.

Hence why I gave you a matchday 38 win to get out of relegation zone.....
:p

Hahaha cheers mate! Good to know we'll secure safety at home against my best mate's already relegated team (West Ham). Can't beat that for drama! Hope you at least pencilled us in for 2 wins in the Tyne-Wear derby ;)

I'm not fussed either way but can see both sides of the coin. I think the transfer window should be fine (as last minute deals could have an impact on people's predictions).

Yep I'm happy with that.

The comp I'm doing with my mates we're shutting it at the start of the season so I might end up with two different tables again.

Happy to post mine and have it put in the OP (which is how I originally would have liked to do it) so that people can easily check that I haven't manipulated my table as the season progresses (via the ability to check edits).

How many games before the first transfer window?

Start of the season is surely a more accurate marker of your ability - you might have a recently promoted smokey you think can finish top half. If they win there first 3 everyone will already be all over them.

Yeah agree with this.

It's not much of a prediction thread if you do it a month through the competition.
