2015 Brownlow Medal

Lewis has got 35 and 34 disposals in his first two games though not running at a great DE%. Likely won't get any votes from Sunday's game either.

Still, umpires love disposal numbers and he's our main midfielder these days.

Because of Hawthorn's poor game on the weekend, it is unlikely that the umpires will award votes to any Hawthorn players. It always seems to be that if a team dominates for three quarters (and wins) that team will receive all the votes.

Yeah I agree, said he'd be unlikely from Sunday's game. If he can continue to pump out those kind of numbers he will pick up quite a few votes in games we do win.

Over the last 3 years danger has had 28+ disposals 21 times polling votes in 20 of those games.

The only no vote game came in the round 20 2012 upset loss to brisbane.

From an odds point of view, Bontempelli was @ $500 preseason, @ $150 after the NAB challenge (where I put a few sneaky $$$ on him) and is now @ $26.
Plays an eye catching game right underneath the umpires noses and has been instrumental in our two wins so far.

And apparently didn't train today and had a compression bandage on his calf

I'm pretty sure that was only a knock rather than a strain so hopefully he'll be available this weekend. Looking forward to us playing the Bullies.
A knock can make a young player miss a week though , no use of risking him

Ever since umpires got the stats after a game it seems that only stats matter these days
Not like the Robert Klomp days when you could get bog with 9 possessions!

Scott Pendlebury or Josh P. Kennedy could push Fyfe.

- No Beams/Swan pinching votes off Pendles. If they win at least 10 games and Pendles ups his output from the first two rounds by ~15%, he is great value today at $18. Could get the Brownlow he deserves in circumstances similar to Jobe in 2012, Priddis last year and arguably Judd in 2010.
- JPK is the mother hen of the Sydney mids, right under the umpires noses, polled quite well last year, good side etc.

Mack the Knife's to lose.

Fyfe's odds are shortening quickly, now $3.75 well ahead of next favourite dangerfield $8.00 and Gray $14.00.
