Francis complimenting Hooker and Hurley should be enough for Essendon's defensive stocks. Freo could be the main suitor if we pass with our first two. Otherwise I think he's there at our next pick.

Essendon loves defensive depth, they had 3 defenders leave this season in Fletcher, Carlisle and Steinberg, so I think they will take 2 KPDs, not 1.

They only take Francis then it's just Pears in reserve, can't see them only relying on 4 key defenders next year.

Though you would think they will go after Brown somewhere later if St Kilda doesn't, seeing as they wanted him in preseason

They'll probably go for a KPF also.

Im not sure, but drafting no talls guarentees it, and Ill be handing out pitchforks and torches at the door.

I so want to feel like what St Kilda and Essendon fans felt at draft time last year, when they were picking up Goddard, Langford and Laverde at the end of the first round after they were overlooked by many making them slip, such as Carlton reaching for Boekhorst, Geelong slightly reaching on Cockatoo and GWS reaching on Marchbank.

Hopefully Collins and Bonner will be available at our picks, best result imo

i think essendon are our main rival for Adams. Which is why I can see us taking him at 20/21 as Im not convinced he's there at 30.

Have you heard anything about Essendon or just a hunch? I heard today they are into him at pick 25 so if you have heard something similar it could spell trouble

Sen start their draft broadcast at 6.50 Victorian time so would assume picks start about 7pm

Adelaide 30 minutes ahead of Brisbane time. So the draft starts at 6:00pm Brisbane time.

ps. Fox Footy's broadcast starts at 5:30pm Brisbane time.

30mins behind Melbourne, who is an hr ahead of Brisbane due to daylight savings time.
