just trying to put a midfielder there who has actually played up forward. thought goddard has been very good over the last 3-4 weeks. people tend to throw a pure midfielder in the position which isnt right imo.

Hooker isn't anywhere near All Australian at the moment
Tom McDonald has at least been the equal of Hooker and Hurley. It took the until our embarrassment of a game on Saturday for him to be beaten. It's not like he has done it in a solid defensive unit either. The ball is coming in regularly and quickly and he is supported by some quite average teammates back there. Still leads all key position players in coaches votes and has been In the teams top 3 players 5/6 games. We are still rubbish but he hasn't put a foot wrong. I know he doesn't have the competition of other players, but no team would have such a massive gap between 1st and 2nd in their B&F as we currently do.
