Anthony Albanese - How long? -2-

But the entire Fox News (Murdoch) modus operandi is to nuclear charge the bits that suit them and ignore the bits that don’t.

And when they do that they decide the narrative.

And we have an unfortunate situation in Australia due to media ownership concentration that if Murdoch decides to create a narrative - everyone follows. Including - and increasingly - the ABC.

So Labor can attack all they want - but who is going to run it?
Except for the majority of the country who voted Labor at both federal and state levels.

So Dutton of course isn't happy with what he got (not shocked)

The rushed bill that could be illegal to deal with the illegal detention isn't enough he wants legislation written to make the indefinite detention legal, constitution be damned (funny how it was sacred a month ago for the referendum)

Oh what's that?

Neoliberal *ery and cowardice

Oh sorry people we can't help we gave away the power to do so because reasons

Looked the other way while an entire sex slave industry got imported Dutton. That dutton. Election ads writing themselves.

Mind you cops and brothels……go way back

Zero cred

Albo leads an economic trainwreck of an economy, failed referendum, out of control immigration and has released murderers and rapists into the community. Labors primary vote will have a 2 in front of it at the next election.

Jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs….
Wages rising more than anytime under the nine years under the LNP.

Albanese sticking to the stage 3 tax cuts against all public opinion and sense because he is a moron and weak leader.
He's also a climate bastard and Murdoch scaredycat
Also a refugee demoniser.
Vote Greens or Socialists.

Im surprised we don’t have a Democratic Socialist party with policies based on the Nordic model.
Proven policies on Justice, welfare, taxes, education, Health with strong unions and workers rights.

Not perfect but 100 times better than what our Parties have dished out since Gough.

It's impossible in our current right wing media environment imo.

I actually think it’s the perfect time…
People are more engaged in getting their opinions from online sources and it’s hard to argue against policies that are clearly working.
A well run grass roots campaign Based on “why cant we have what they have” …. “It’s our natural resources” … etc..
I agree there would definitely be opposition from the corporate media but that would only validate the policies…

If Labor had worthwhile climate policy, properly adressed the housing crisis, cost of living , the environment and nationalised some energy companies, I'm sure they would be more popular because that's what the opinion polls say.
Unfortunately they have no guts, no vision and no true leaders.

Our population doesn't have the mindset for this.

Swallowed up by cost of living rises.
Given the Liberal Party policy, per Cormann was to suppress wages and they've voted against every cost of living relief policy presented to Parliament imagine how much worse off we'd be if the Libs were still guiding the ship.

Why is Dutton making up ground then? His policies? His charisma? His vision for Australia?

Why?
Dutton is not the useless current government... It is that simple.

The same reason Albanese won the election, because he wasn't Scott Morrison. The primary vote at the last election showed that Albanese is the prime Minister no-one wanted.... Now that is coming home to roost in 2PP!

Don't get me started on his referendum he spent 6 months telling the public how we should vote while seemingly ignoring cost of living, only for the referendum to be called a loss in approximately 1 hour!

How can he be so bad?

Domestic Violence rightly getting a big media focus atm as murders of women by their partners continues to rise and
the Australian Bureau of Statistics released its latest personal safety data on Wednesday, showing an estimated 4.2 million adults have been exposed to abuse or violence by a partner since the age of 15.

An estimated 27 per cent, or 2.7 million women, experienced partner violence or abuse, compared to 15 per cent of men.

A matter of national disgrace requiring focussed nuanced intelligent discussion from our elected leaders. Sadly the level of discourse in the House of Reps and the Senate from the usual idiots prevents that.

Always your answer, whataboutism.
Abbott drew heavily on the Howard years as evidence of the Libs preparedness and superiority in government, I don't think it's unfair to draw on the experience of the Morrison government to show how utterly unfit for office the current Liberal Party is.

Albo never got past his student union politics. Doesn't work in the real world, but it makes some people warm and fuzzy inside.
