If you don't understand that in a team game with 22 players on each side, it is in fact possible for a player in a losing team to be better than the best player in a winning team, then I can't help you...In which way am I wrong though?
Can argue 2017 but to say 2019 is a bit of a stretch lol!
Houli - 26 disposals @ 77%, 9 contested, 9 intercepts & 6 score involvements.
Martin - 22 disposals @ 86%, 12 contested, 4 goals, 8 score involvements with 2 assists.
Houli was great, especially with his intercepts but Martin was brilliant!
But we ain't talking about the team we're talking about individual games, and in 2008 Hodge's game was better than Ablett's despite Ablett having more disposals, and same as all 3 of Dusty's grand finals being better tooIf you don't understand that in a team game with 22 players on each side, it is in fact possible for a player in a losing team to be better than the best player in a winning team, then I can't help you...
You know he was talking about 2019Nah, Houli was brilliant as he is the one who continually nullified Adelaide's entries. He was everywhere when the game was there to be won.
Martin topped if off at the end with another goal but the result was a formality.
Houli should have been awarded than Norm Smith.
The Geelong obsession with Dustin Martin continues.Nah, Houli was brilliant as he is the one who continually nullified Adelaide's entries. He was everywhere when the game was there to be won.

It’s very obvious he’s never even watched the 2008 decider, he’s just very bitter at Geelong for some reason. If you don't understand that in a team game with 22 players on each side, it is in fact possible for a player in a losing team to be better than the best player in a winning team, then I can't help you...
How can I be bitter at a team that has given me so many great finals victories CobbaIt’s very obvious he’s never even watched the 2008 decider, he’s just very bitter at Geelong for some reason.

Unsure how or why but you’re bloody well managing it like a pro with yeeeaaarrs of practice under his belt. How can I be bitter at a team that has given me so many great finals victories Cobba
Yep, that was the one.Still the same answer for me, Goddard in 2010.
Houli and Liam picken come to mind.
Always felt that Billy Picken was one of the few Collingwood players who could hold his head high after the 1980 grand finalPicken's never seem to get them!
3 out of the 5 voters later claimed they would have awarded more votes to Voss had they voted after the game. Although might still have not been enough.
I think most of this Hawthorn centric post is either outside my level of consciousness or bullshit, but Jamie 'the freak's Morrissey's job on the rampant 1991 Chris Lewis is the most unrewarded performance I can think of. Lewis would have torn Hawthorn to pieces if he had gotten off the leashOK...

In '86 at half time Gary Buckenara would've been $1.01 had there been in-play betting back then, absolutely tore Carlton a new one.
A few controversial one's but it's for sh×T's and giggles I hope
Yeah but he got the Brownlow from that position there’s still hope!Sam Mitchell was runner up in 2014 and 2015. He could've easily won the Normie in either year
