Family Day @ the G

I headed over there for about 1/2 hour at the end of the day. Decent crowd still there, Daniher was on stage interviewing Ratten and Fagan. Daniher implied that Fagan was disappointed with Brad Green being moved into the midfield group with Ratten, while according to Daniher assistant coach Mark Riley wasn't on stage because he was working on getting the point kick ins right.

Daniher was doing his best to really promote the club, he plugged this Wednesday nights training heavily (5pm, MCG, bar open). He said that the club would play with plenty of physicality and passion this year, and that the first home game crowd in Rd 2 is very important because the AFL don't think we are good enough Friday night games.

It was nice to get on the MCG, grass still very short and quite soft underfoot. The new scoreboard is up, hopefully its all ok for next week. And the specials in the Demon shop were decent as well.

Oh, and there were plenty of groupies floating around as well.
