Nowhere near top 20Shuey is hovering around the top 20 in the league mate.
Is our second most important player behind NicNat.
Well and truly beside the point of that post anywayNowhere near top 20
Then Cotchin must be in the triple figures...Nowhere near top 20
Brownlow votes
Martin clear 7th 21 votes.
Ziebell =40th 8 votes
Shuey =50th 7 votes
Hartlett = 109th 3 votes
It got the order correct.Typically i think the brownlow doesn't tell anything, but i think broadly speaking it represents the four players years quite well.
Not really, given it takes a whole team to get you there in the first place to have a shot at it. Winning a Norm Smith doesn't by default make you a better player than someone who doesn't have one.Shuey - Norm Smith would end the debate right?

Gary Ablett Jr doesn't have a Norm Smith, yet Bartel, Chapman and Steve Johnson do. I'd still say Ablett Jr is a better player than all of them.
They don't have to be. Byron Pickett has a Norm Smith too for Port, doesn't automatically make him their best player in that time. Where'd he finish in the B&F that year?But Martin, Ziebell and Hartlett aren't Gary ******* Ablett so
If Shuey won a Norm Smith he'd be at least par with Martin who is the clubhouse leader at this stage, as Shuey, Ziebell and Hartlett are near inseperable.They don't have to be. Ziebell is nowhere near Shuey. Shuey has been clearly better every year.If Shuey won a Norm Smith he'd be at least par with Martin who is the clubhouse leader at this stage, as Shuey, Ziebell and Hartlett are near inseperable.
You're making comparisons that are totally irrelevant.
Trying to illustrate that a Norm Smith doesn't automatically make someone a better player. Of course it's something to note, but there's more to it. Particularly when not everyone gets a shot at it either.If Shuey won a Norm Smith he'd be at least par with Martin who is the clubhouse leader at this stage, as Shuey, Ziebell and Hartlett are near inseperable.

Was 3rd or 4th best afield for us. That says something about the rest of the team.Got close to winning it yesterday.....
For the Hawks
Get your ******* head out of your ass. He was easily our second best afield yesterday to Gaff.Got close to winning it yesterday.....

He made a couple of selfish decisions where he could've looked for our forwards but that's about it. Consistently used the ball well and actually spotted up teammates for the majority of the match, and is one of the very very few eagles who could actually hold their head up high for his efforts.So touchy. Personally thought he was crap, but anyway.
Closer than Martin.Got close to winning it yesterday.....
