No. Possession, not dealing. QLD is the only state in Australia where you can, in the eyes of the law, supply a prohibited substance to yourself. Karmichael Hunt 'supplying' cocaine, as the media reported, was merely to himself - which is greatly different from dealing. He got his charge downgraded to just possession anyway, but Queensland's backwards laws created a media shitstorm despite there being no proof whatsoever that he ever provided drugs to anyone but himself.
Either way, it's over now, but it'll always hang over his head. As a professional sportsman in such a high position, he should have known better. What an idiot.

hahaha no he wasn't. He wasn't charged with supply because it was a bullshit speculative charge of the kind cops/DPPs throw at cases as a matter of procedure.
If you think the average punter would get charged with supply for the amount Hunt was dealing with, you're dreaming.
I'm sure you wouldn't have to try to hard to find a sympathetic ear when engaging legal representation.

actually, I believe the letter of the law is "intent to sell or supply" for this very reason. profit and even payment at all is not a vital element for prosecution.
