What a thread! I'm pretty sure everyone in the Sweet FA thought "what is this pile of dung?" then proceeded to read the entire thing to see where their handle ended up...

But Chat Pile, I gotta say that PetWussy was ranked WAY too low.

To be honest I didnt even think of the quality of the thread, just was interested in seeing how this ranking system he came up with worked.

Seems doesn’t rate numbers in names or underscores ?

Scoring system was as follows

• Correct spacing +1
• Incorrect spacing -1
• Proper capitalisation +1
• Improper capitalisation -1
• Number -1
• Underscore -3
• Special characters -1

Number of characters in name

• 20+ -2
• 19 - 16 -1
• 15 - 11 +1
• 10 - 7 +3
• 6 - 4 0
• 3 - 2 -2

I also added a -1 penalty if it was difficult to decipher between aesthetic error or artistic license.

I added a +1 bonus if a conventionally ugly name made me say "not bad".

Both of those were used infrequently.
