Patrick Dangerfield has come to Geelong,
The waiting is over,it took so damn long,
Thousands of posts, was the Cats and Crows task,
Will he or wont he,everyone asked,
In the beginning the Crows said,no way!
He'll win a flag here,he won't be swayed,
Cats fans shot back,he wants to come home,
He's starting a family, and wants beaches to roam,
He can have all that in about five years,
Crows fans still confident but showing their fears,
The season wore on and Paddy was silent,
The boards were at loggerheads,it almost got violent,
The Adelaide confidence started to wilt,
How could he leave us,has he no guilt,
Then came the finals, and the Crows were out,
What happened next there was never a doubt,
Patrick said he was coming home,
Back to the coast to fish and to roam,
He can also play for the GFC,
The team that he loved,as a boy by the sea,
As a young lad,he stood on the wing,
Watching Buddha and Ricco doing their thing,
He dreamed of one day doing the same,
All the Cats faithful calling his name,
In 2016 that dream will come true,
As the Geelong crowd shout,
Paddy,we love you!

I reckon no.9 would look awesome on him, unsure on the no.35 for Paddy.

I'd have Paddy no.9, Selwood no.20, Hendo no.27 and Smith no.17
Scooter is 16

I'd give Danger 35, Smith 12 (big sexy)

And Hendo 9...

So our key defenders going forward will have 7, 8, 9

:D

That second round pick of ours (28) sure gets around. From us to Adelaide to Carlton to GWS to Collingwood, then tomorrow most likely to be traded to Brisbane for Aish. Maybe if we'd been patient we could have got it for Walker ;)

Pity there's no droit de suite on draft picks, we could have made up this year's financial loss.

a bit like #21 last year- It started off as a compo pick for Brennan in 2010 and went from Brisbane to GCFC (2010) to GWS (2012) back to Brisbane (2014) through Geelong and ended up with the Saints.
