Unrealistically over confident? Dunno. Why did Port set this goal? Don't they realise it's not the SANFL anymore?

Winning is winning and besides, Hinkley is staying put for 2 more years. So an 119 level loss will not be enough to dislodge him.Serious question Port fans.
Would you prefer winning the Semi and losing the Prelim by a goal?
or
Getting flogged at home by GWS this week by 6 goals+ ?
You didn't read the fine print.Unrealistically over confident? Dunno.
Sanfl and AFL flags? You didn't read the fine print.
You never want to see your team lose but Hinkley needs the blow torch on him, so going out this week in embarassing fashion will jack that up considerably.Serious question Port fans.

Yea and a stretch for an AFLW.. it doesn't really matter they've achieved absolutely none of it.Sanfl and AFL flags?
Well the sanfl flags are basically impossible given the rules around finals availability.Yea and a stretch for an AFLW.. it doesn't really matter they've achieved absolutely none of it.
It's actually more ridiculous to include SANFL & AFLW as part of the goal, small fry & totally in line with the current vanilla administration.
Does the latter get Koch and Ken sacked?Serious question Port fans.

AFL reserves needs to happen.
It would add dollars to the league IMO.Can we get this done.
It will be a sad day when the PB's are forever shelved but there is no point sticking around in meaningless competition that despises the AFL represented teams. Surely it wouldn't cost that much more to do considering you can sync the reserves fixture with the main fixture. The reserves team could either play as a curtain raiser at the main stadium or at the home (training) ground on the same day.
Second option by far.Serious question Port fans.

History says no.
I agree, I cbf watching eagles in wafl as it’s a stacked deck against them. They arent really wanted. It would add dollars to the league IMO.
Extra TV rights because people will watch.
SANFL has nothing really but an interest factor for watching developing players on the AFL list & potential draftees from the other clubs.Well the sanfl flags are basically impossible given the rules around finals availability.
That and most afl players have checked out.
Port Magpies might never win a flag in the sanfl ever again which would be sad.

I remember the days our reserves team use to play at the gabba as a curtain raiser. My dad and I use to go early and watch the 2 games. Good ole daysCan we get this done.

Surely there's no real dilemma here? Straights sets exits are an indignity.Serious question Port fans.

Yeah. It's the coach that's the problem lol.Now everyone can see why no port supports wanted him resigned
Yeah. It's the coach that's the problem lol.
Port don't have the players to compete. Sorry, but it's true. This is on the coach.
There is a pattern of being completely and utterly unprepared in a preliminary final. It's ok if you are at least in the game and lose by 4-6 goals with genuine effort but there's no way GWS are that much better than Port Adelaide. Certainly not based on this years results.
Port don't have the players to beat a team that Port beat by 53 points like a month agoPort don't have the players to compete. Sorry, but it's true.
