This could be my very final team, I took Clarke out of my backline and replaced him with Smedts knowing that Morris is playing for Richmond which freed up enough money to upgrade Swallow to Selwood

That's a good point.. I've had Clarke all preseason but trading him out for someone like Spurr, with Morris now playing a majority of the season (hopefully ), it makes everything a whole lot simpler..

So I've decided, after much wrestling, to go with three rookie rucks. Where should I upgrade?

If you were to go Johnson to Pavlich depending on how much cash you have left you could consider going Golby to Waters.

Johnson could be an upgrade option later in the season and most likely at a cheaper price.

Notice you don't have Magner which is rare. I would go Magner over Pfeiffer.

I guess only the DPP led me to pfeiffer. No other reason really.

I had Bugg and Kennedy my emergencies along with Shiel, so I was happy that I stuffed up and didn't know that Mitch wasn't playing. Kennedy will cover him for this round and I'll swap them and look to get Mitch out ASAP... prob trade for Devon Smith. I know Docherty won't play for a while but I've got Bugg to cover for him and he seems more likely to break into his side than Spurr.

Team looks awesome to me. With two premium mid R11s, and two rookie mid R11s, im guessing you'll be upgrading to a round 13 premium? That's a monster midfield.

The only concern would be your backline with a decent chance that 2 of morris/ellis/darley could be missing in any week (just my guess).

I'm considering all of them for the final spot in the backline.... But they all have issues and I can't see anyone else without dramatically adjusting my side...

I probably erred in not having more than one (Bugg) GWS player in the defence....

I'm happy to take any suggestions up to about 118K....
