SAF $1.24
DRAW $9.50
WIN $6.25

Surely Windies are over the odds here? SAF deserve to be favourites being at home and with Petersen returning but surely this is a more even contest than those odd suggest. Especially if Chanderpaul can continue his early form.

Would absolutely agree. You can probably write your own ticket for the draw. I hope like hell if there’s anything in the wicket, that we bowl Kyle Mayers

Anyone know anything about the de Zorzi guy? And no Kyle Verreynne in the squad?
rsa have gone is with a bat ar as their spinner here, and Markram can bowl spin if needed

Yeah Verreyne’s absence was discussed a lot on social media last week - even Aussie fans who don’t really follow overseas teams noted how stupid it was given that he was good in Australia. Still baffling

Both sides look better that the ones that came out here.

Not that it means everything; our most dangerous bowler so far has bowled at 125kph - but having 2 guys nudging 150 in the first 45 minutes of the game gives the Windies attack a more potent look at least

F*** all sideways movement off this pitch so far

Gabriel and Roach would've been handy in Australia, just need that pace. Hopefully Tang and Braitwatte can keep doing their thing at the top of the order, looks like a promising opening duo.

Our batting looks immediately better with those two, but Riefer isn’t up to test cricket especially at number 3.

We are just lacking some consistency with the ball atm, we’ve bowled a lot of really searching deliveries this session but almost uniformly they’ve been followed soon after by some dross. Not dissimilar to some of the passages at Perth
