In a real life case of 'ya joking, can't believe he didn't go higher!', I will use pick 31 to draft the player I would've drafted with pick 1 - none other than Trent 'The Dulmial Gun' McKenzie.

Although I am not known for being a vocal supporter of The Dulmial Gun on this board, I privately believe that he is one of the best key defenders in the AFL with his unique skillset of having both great pace and excellent contested marking ability allowing him to play on both talls and smalls, as well as also being one of the best kicks of the football in the team.
