We have the least amount of frees for and the 5th least frees against.

Same stat year after year.

To make it worse, year after year we have the least suspensions/fines.

I'm not talking about the last five years, nor the last ten years, nor the last two decades, I'm talking for the last twenty five years.

The cheating is as obvious as north Melbourne allowed to break the rules last night.

I know you do this simplistically but I'd love to see this based on a ladder of the previous few rounds. When a team plays another team can change the outcome of this ladder severely. E.g. playing Coll in rd 10 v rd 18. They were nearly top in rd 10, then they lost a heap of games in a row and were no longer relevant.

Not sure if we want or need this, but seeing as I'm the self proclaimed Statman, I decided to do it anyway. I'll update our stats every week.

TEAM

• I've done a quick analysis of our disposal efficiency (using my own assumptions since kick/handball efficiency stats aren't available to the public).
• Breaking it down a bit, I've assumed we dispose at the same efficiency by foot as we do by hand. Based on that, simply, we go at just under 152 average effective kicks (ranked 7th, up from 151 ranked 8th last week) and 94 average effective handballs (ranked 17th still, but up from 93 last week). The flaw is due to not being able to access kicking efficiency or handball efficiency individually.

UPDATED POST FINALS WEEK 1

Some interesting stuff:
Rich v NM had a ridiculously low number of disposals for a dry game, only just over 600 between them.
WB v Adel had the least number of stoppages (47), 3 less than Rich v NM.
Adelaide kicked the highest score of the round.
Our disposal efficiency was the worst it has been in a win since the Tigers game.
From our 22 games this season, Eddie is ranked equal 2nd and Tex outright 4th in goals per game.
Jacobs' effective hitouts dropped by a whole percentage point this week.
Thommo is having his second best year in the last five for the amount of frees he's given away.

They still have Plowman & Addison at GWS.
