THE BATTLE FOR FOURTH PLACE SHALL BEGIN TODAY

Western Bulldogs defender Joel Hamling will return through the VFL on Sunday when Footscray take on Essendon at VU Whitten Oval.

After making his AFL debut in round nine against GWS, Hamling impressed in his five AFL games for his composure in the Dogs’ back half – before being sidelined with a back injury in round 14.

Matt Fuller also returns for his first match since round 12 of the VFL season, after suffering a setback in his return from a quad injury.

Hamling and Fuller will be welcome inclusions as the Dogs take on the fourth-placed Bombers in what is an important match for both sides with finals approaching.

The Bulldogs will field one of its’ strongest line up for season 2015, with 19 AFL-listed players named on the extended bench.

Imo Top 8 is pretty much set with Port Melbourne losing yesterday and if Werribee win against Casey today means Port are three games behind

I'm confused....how come Grant, Dale and Daniel are listed for the seniors AND the reserves?

Busy day ahead for those lads

Think since it's a sunday game they didn't update the listing when the full afl team was named

I just want Boyd to dominate. I want to see him play a hogan role similar to what he did in the VFL and stay deep forward all day!
No rucking thanks

Boyd to kick 72 goals. You saw it here first.

Our VFL defence is seriously undersized. Boyd really should be having a field day.

Great mark by Z-Cord.

Not the greatest start. 3 goals to Essendon to no reply.

Getting gusty here in Preston, how's the wind at the ground

Boyd drops a chest mark. Ah well at least he got there!

Boyd very unimpressive.
