What have I told you about believing everything you read, especially from unofficial sources? Watt will play. Not listed in the team or on the extended bench last night.
Played on the wing in the final practice match against Melbourne.
The buzzards are circling.

What makes you think that?
Do you have a match up in mind?
Watt and Thompson are 2 different types anyway. Thompson is confident, smart and has good positioning and skills. Watt is quickish.

He'll play.
Guess.
Not really.
Spud/Gibson/Petire will take Lloyd/Lucas/resting Hille or Laycock. Welsh has been playing as a hit up CHF. Probably Thompson for him.
Watt will take McPhee, who is underdone, and push hard forward when we have to footy to grind him down.

You wouldn't like my answer.
Whilst I would like to see Drew go back, I have a strong gut feeling he won't.
Which leaves Harding and Power as the only viable match ups for Davey and Jetta. Both Davey and Jetta on the ground at the same time could cause us real headaches considering the losses of Smith and Sinclair. Knights would be crazy not to take advantage of this.
As for Hille and Laycock going forward, we simply play our resting ruck on them when they both go on the ground. Hamish gets Hille and Hale gets Laycock.
Jetta is a kid and should realistically should be shut-out by whoever we choose to put on him. I reckon Rawlings will tag Davey, which says a bit about their midfield. It's rubbish.
But they have been rucking Laycock and dropping Hille forward and to good effect. He is a big bastard and he moves ok. Laycock can mark the footy, too. Has to be Drew.
Petrie to take whichever of Hille or Laycock go forward
Pratt to take Davey
Watt to take Lloyd
Firrito to take Lucas
Gibson to take McPhee
The rest can take care of itself.
They would be my starting defensive match up's.
IIRC Watt has taken Lloyd most times we have played them and beats him most of the time.
In what many thought of as a match in which he had a suitable match up.
Looks like Dean has been listening to Zondor, Devil Fish and a few others.
Thompsons inclusion is going to make it hard for Shannon from now on.
