Worsfold had a press conference this morning and some of the points that they touched up on were:

Reporter: Ash Hansen and his performance for Swans would he be selected this week?
Worsfold: He was great but Our forward line functioned very well on the weekend and I cant see where we would use him unless he could fill a differant role.
Me Reading between the lines: He played well but wont play this week.

Rep: Hunter hows his shoulder and will he play and train today??
Woosh: He had some work done localy and Im not sure if he will train today but he will be available this week depending on how he responds later in the week. He may not train today but that depends on whether they wont him to give it a day or 2 to let the proceedure work.:(
Me: He wont train today, only had a QTRZONE injection may play this week if all ok.

Rep: Ben Mckinley played well last week how do you see his Form??
Woosh: Bens a young player we are trying to develope and he will have up and down weeks but I was pleased with his game on the Weekend but like all the young guys we want him to improve on certain aspects of the Game.
ME: Bens game was fine stupid Question.

Rep: Naitanui played a full game last week is he in contention and how would he fit into the side with Cox and Seaby??
Woosh: Nick has got to have 4 solid performances in the league team for Swans before we will consider him and If selected he could play at FB, CHB as he did with the swans last year or play at FF or CHF as well.
Rep: So he wont be up for selection next week either.
Woosh: No so dont ask the same question next week.:D
Me: We wont rush him in to the team and He will probably play back up to Cox in the ruck with time in the forward line but since you asked a stupid question I will give a Vague answer But it will be 4 weeks minimum before he plays and barring injury he will play this year.

Would has posted a link but It keep freezing up.
Go to AFL.Com or WCE.com for video.:thumbsu:

that's fair enough. i know we've all got big hopes for him but there is absolutely no use rushing him into the team.

thats fair enough. The jump in fitness from WAFL to AFL is huge so let him get some fitness and form before coming into the Eagles side. Im an anxious as the next West Coast supporter but id rather be patient than watch NickNat make his debut underdone and lacking confidence.

I also love Woosha.

I like the fact he recognizes how well the forward line functioned and I hope that he keeps the team structured the same against Collingwood. Which means leaving Hunter and Hansen out and keeping Seaby in.

Must be getting harder for journos these days. After Cousins and co going off the rails everyone expects larger stories every week.

Good, no need to rush him in. Even the most infantile of supporter can see we are in absolutely no need to hurry anything and on the way back up is the best position to be in. Clubs like Collingwood, Richmond, St Kilda and the Bulldogs need to do things in a hurry to "sure up" sponsors and club memberships and the pressure is on for most clubs to perform and at least make the finals.

The most pressing decisions we need to make are who to move on at the end of this year and some hard decisions do need to be made but are not what I would call essential.

What is essential is to earmark certain types in the system who will be able to fill roles more than adequately than others and simply move on those who wont.

I think you will find that when he does get a game he will play as a forward.

His forward pressure and tackling will be something that our forward line is lacking!!

As a WC supporter I find Woosha's answers hilarious- he doesn't give a stuff about the media, but I can see why opposition suppporters find him fustrating

Saw him play in the WAFL Grand Final last year,He played everywhere! Can't wait to see him on the paddock in an AFL game!:)

Hopefully it's 5 weeks and the first doesn't count. :D
