Martin O'Neill was at the game.

I know Tuncay wasn't playing but it could've been to speak to him.

Or to watch Wheater (who apparently played well) or some 25 year old Sheffield United central defender. (who apparently also played well).

The Sheffield United dude would be a fourth choice centre back and you're probably not going to get anything better than him in such a role.

I think you mean Kilgallon who Sheffield United want 5 mill for so cant see O Neill spending that much on a 4th choice CB. I think your first option is the best and most likely. Tuncay and Carew would be the sex

I've heard that Spurs 'ITK' report as well.

Sadly, these Spurs 'ITK' also had delusions about Young.

Why believe them?

Spurs ITK? I haven't heard anything about Tuncay.

The Young ITK was that we had put a big in for him and that was all.

I'm not sure what you have been reading but there are 3-4 guys who constantly get things right. I believe them because they are correct.

5Live reporting Bartons had a bust up with Hughton. Well, that didn't take long, did it?

Krul, world class shot-stopper. Not very good at judging the cross though.

1-1. Take that before the game, and i take that after the game. probably the fair result from what i caught of the 2nd half.

Smith wasnt that bad. Tackled well. Ameobi on the other hand. Needs a brain, two new feet, new engine/body and some real talent

5Live are wrong (again). He had a bust-up with Coloccini.

For those still alive the West Brom vs Newcastle game is on the box on Fox Sports 1. Just started the second half and it is West Brom who lead, no idea who scored as I was out getting pizza...

Alan Smith, from the limited parts I have seen, has been LOL...

From what other people have said on the forums (who really dont rate him), he was our MOTM.

I can't comment, because I haven't seen any of it.

He's a gun

Happy to walk away with a 1-1 draw.

Tim Krul was magnificent. His shot stopping ability is world class. Is still a baby at 21.

Alan Smith was our MOTM by far, he was brilliant at breaking up attacks and tackled brilliantly all day! Covered every blade of grass and was a real inspiration. Was pleasantly surprised. He shows obvious love for the top. Well done Smudge!

We have a few issues and need to bring in some more players but a draw to start of the campaign to everyone favorite team to get promoted away is handy and i'll take it.

Hopefully the sale happens by Monday, apparently Ashley is flying back from his holiday to complete the deal to Barry Moat, if that happens, Shearer will get the job straight away and leave us two weeks to get in some signings.

geez middlesborough were heartless the other night, that performance was deplorable.

as for newcastle, atleast they showed something, but they didnt really deserve a point.

as for krul, he really backed up his reputation. my mate was telling me how good he was and i thought he was full of it, but what a keeper he will become. reminds me of bozza in regards to his shot stopping ability. good news for toon fans when he said he wants to hang around as he loves the club and feels like he owes them something.

Great finish to the Coventry vs. Ipswich match. :) Coventry won 2-1.

Donny down 1 - 0 away from home at Watford, coming back to draw 1 - 1 is a good start from my lads.

Promotion certainties !

Heartless? Rubbish. We were hardly awe inspiring but according to all of the english media Sheffield United were going to batter us physically, this didn't happen. We matched them physically and in effort but unfortunately under Gareth we are incapable of creating enough goal scoring chances to win games.

Yeah, heartless is probably the worst call possible from that game...plenty of effort, plenty of running, but as you say no idea of how to cause any problems offensively, which is Southgate all over...I'm not sure he realises there is such thing as a box to box midfielder

Good start to the season at 'Fortress' Cardiff.

Top of the league!!! WOOP WOOP.

Chopra to have a blinder of a year.

Anyone know when we will be on TV this year?
