This post makes me sad. How good would it be to see those kind of teams lineup.

You could pay every player 50k for the game (no-one's on a million a year yet - so better than what they get for their team) and put on the greatest show on earth for little more than 20 million.

Think of the ratings. AD
Think of the attendence.
Think of the $$$$$$$.

NSW would obliterate the opposition at tier 2, but all teams have weaknesses.
Tier 1 would come down to Vic Country and SA - with VC's Sewell/Selwood/Ablett/Bartel combo winning the contested ball.

So:

Tier 1: Vic Country
Tier 2: NSW/ACT

Best game I ever saw was still SA v Vic (1984 I think - don't quote me) at the height of the rivalry.

SA won by four points at Footy Park with Kernahan dominating to kick ten...the good 'ol days.

God it'd be great to watch. Vic Country would probably mop the floor with everyone.

SA team looks very strong as well.

WA would dominate in the ruck, with Cox, Sandilands and Mitch Clark.

The NT team would be exciting to watch, with Jurrah, Motlop, Alwyn and Aaron Davey and Rioli running around. Lack of tall defenders would kill them though.

Wouldn't have minded putting in him but it just so happens SA have the best rebounding defenders going around. The four flankers and back pockets were all nominated for AA this year, while Shannon Hurn was stiff to miss.

Scott McMahon at the Roos also had a stellar year and couldn't get a gig, just too much class around.

Would be as excited at watching an SA vs VIC game as i would be if the Crows made the GF. One will happen in the next few years and it wont be the former.

I reckon VC would edge out VM in Div 1.

However, I think Queensland would beat the NSW/ACT side for Div 2.

Vic Country will win Divvi 1 but surely there would be a better ruckman that Fraser for that side.

We won't see SOO again unfortuantly and I might be the odd one out and say I'm glad that we won't. As much as I would love to see the Big V again, I would curse if any Carlton players were injured.

Interesting to see the players divided like that. I even learned a bit.

WA's and SA's forward lines are the best. Vic COuntry have the best team.

And out of QLD and ACT/NSW for Div2.

On this year's performances, Chad Cornes shouldn't be there. But on reputation, fair enough.

Edit: Oh and Cassisi or Surjan in for NVB or Jones on the WA bench.

Kane Cornes, but it is a very good side. I think Johncock is a better player than Hurn. Although I am biased.

I had no idea Cassisi was from WA. I respect him and Surjan, if only the rest of your players had the heart they had!
