Had a small crack at the pies to get to 15 points first tonight @ 2.10.

Stkilda are coming off a practice match, and are likely to take a while to adjust to a more physical game, as the Pies will want to start well after almost being embarrassed last week.

Also think the pies + 24.5 line isn't a bad bet at 1.60, as if the Pies do start well like I expect, the Saints will do well to win by more then 4 goals.

Only one favourite out of eight that opened up between -12 to -20 spread has covered the line and that was Carlton against Richmond on opening night.

I like the Saints but I'm hesitant because they're coming off a blow out win last week, while the Magpies are coming off a very, very close win against last year's worst team. So, the public would surely see the Saints as a good thing, no? Unless the bookies are giving free chicken dinners to everyone.

The saints are always fast starters, i don't think it'll matter that they're coming off a an easy game last round. They're on a mission this year

GL though :thumbsu:

can see the pies getting 60-70 points tonight. can also see st kilda breaking 100.

30-50 point win for st k

Got to say I don't like that bet, St Kilda have the ability to explode out of the blocks.

I havn't found much value this weekend, but am having some small bets on:

St K + Port win @ $2.56
Geelong win @ $1.71
WB + Geelong win @ $2.5

Ottens out now so one more bet for me this week. Syd -15.5/Carl/Fre @3.93.

Yeah true, don't know what I was thinking, Collingwood never start well, I mean in the only real time they have turned up this year they kicked 8 goals to 3 against another premiership contender.

What was I thinking? (I know now this will blow up in my face, but Stkilda are over rated for fast starts).:o:p

Ottens out makes my Freo bet of the week at +24.5 seem very nice now.

ahhhh had 5 on sidebum for first goal @ 68, marked 40 out right infront in the first minute but missed it... coulda been a perfect start to the week.. for the record tonite im on stk-17.5/ total over 178.5

tab is offering kreuzer at $51-1 for most goals tomorrow night
i think this is extremely good value in a game that is unlikely to have a major goal kicker and kreuzer will get his fair share of time in the square.

i think it would be stupid not to have 10 or so on it

considering he has not kicked a goal this year id say 51-1 is about right?

A couple more bets to finish off round 3...

Sydney (-39.5) @ 1.92

The swans are in great form, coming close to the Saints round 1 and smashing the crows last week. The same cant be said for the tigers whos season is over already. They are unsetteled with 6 changes as opposed to no changes for the swans. I was at the G last year when I saw the swans beat the tiges by 62 points, and expect a bigger flogging up here in Sydney.

Sydney / Adelaide / Western Bulldogs @ 2.50

The swans win well. Everyone seems to be thinking the dees are a good bet this week. IMO they have very little chance against the crows. The hawks are wounded and coming off a short break without 2 good ruckman. I see the two latter selections as value as I have them both below 1.40.

Thanks Guys, and good luck :thumbsu:

Had like $18 left in my account....

Went:

Sydney win @ $1.08 into
Carlton win @ $1.48

$18 @ $1.59 = $28.77 (profit of $10.77 :p)

(IF) this happens I will probably put the $28 on:

Adelaide (-13.5) @ $1.90 into
Bulldogs (-13.5) @ $1.90 into
Fremantle (+24.5) @ $1.32

$28 @ $4.77 = $133.43 (profit of $105.43)

Total profit of $115.43 and starting to rebuild.

*1 slip up and BANG its over!* :p

Carlton ht/ft double of $1.92 looks pretty good and i've had a fair go at that.

Also taken a bit on total match points under 192.5. Just looks a bit dark outside and there may be a few showers which will limit scoring. Even if it doesn't rain these two teams may find it hard to kick lots of goals.

epic fail!!

West Coast lose today, essendon win
Should result in good odds for west coast next week

Any odds over 1.50 for WCE i might go large similar to the saints.
