Well we didn't get on top that quarter so I can't see us winning it.

Our kicking for goal has been appalling. 1 - 6 that quarter to Collingwood's 4 - 0.

We have been out tackled, out pressured, out played all match.

Time to throw a few team changes in just to experiment for later in the year

It's like we've swapped jumpers with Collingwood for this game with our kicking for goal.

This loss won't be a bad thing, will be the kick up the arse we need. We'll learn from it and play better next time.

Pies have fired their best shot and had the breaks go their way. We're much better than this.

True the one thing that seems to be missing in games like this is that desire and hunger. I always wonder if after a loss they get together as a group and talk about the main goal for the year and how the season is a fail without a premiership. They need to show they how much they want it because thats what gets you over in close games

Hopefully a few home truths are told after this, they learn from it, and its moving on forward from here.

Schnieder re-living the GF?

Been shocking today with his shooting for goal. Hasn't been the lone ranger, we've had plenty of other players that have missed sitters.

Thought we'd improved our goal kicking efficiency this year but today has gone back to our worst. It's been embarassing.

I wonder if the GABA game is a factor. I heard they had to alter Tuesdays training because alot of players pulled up sore. We just look tired. Collingwood look zippy.

Keep clutching at those excuse straws... :thumbsu:
We played away last week as well mate... :)

Bad day at the office really, nothing more. Skills down across the board, nothing came off the whole game. We are primed for finals at this stage.

Hmmm, no good. No need to panic but still, no good. We're inaccurate but Collingwood deserve to be where they are.

Kosi just couldn't get into it, he looked really good really early but did pretty much stuff all for the rest of the game.

We were crap but Collingwood were pretty good. Have to be wary now, no longer pretenders, definitely the real thing.

Our first 3 games we averaged I think around the 78% mark as far as goals to total shots went, needless to say since then it's been a steady decline and this is pretty much crashed back to the pack in terms of efficiency.

Its a good win by you guys, but its basically de ja vu in reverse of the last time we met. Both games this year there has been one side seriously out of form. Not to take anything away from the win but if we played again id expect both sides to be on under the finals pressure.

We were ordinary no doubt and its only round 16. Pretty clear its a 3 horse race now. I hadnt included Collingwood in it earlier but on the back of today they deserve to have there credientials rise a little. I will be interested to see how they go against geelong however

Remember Saints a loss in round 16 isnt the end of the world learn from it and use it for the rest of the year. :thumbsu:

And just incase any Pies fans do come in here running there mouth.
Saints v Collingwood and Geelong 2-1
Pies V Saints and Geelong: 1-2

Just keep a lid on it for now yer?
