No mention of Utah in the West? They've had one of the hardest schedule's to start of the season and they've proved they can beat anyone with wins over Orlando and Miami (after being down 15+) away. That's gotta send a message out to all the doubters. Once Okur comes back, that'll spread the floor which gives Al Jef space in the post and DWill can drive to the hoop. Not to mention Millsap's unbelievable form!

Lakers still the best. Nuggets were just on fire in the 4th, hitting most of their jumpshots. Lakers weren't driving in the lane, just forcing tough 3s. Gasol wen't missing offensively in the 2nd half.

What you guys like for tomorrow?

Houston v Indiana O213.5
Utah over Atlanta (Hawks played badly against quality opposition)

Wizards I think should do pretty well against the Bobcats.

I could see Orlando making their line pretty easily but I don't like to put money on anything with a line that big.

NBA to date: (-1.90 Units) (12/25)
TOER System: 3/5

New York (+4.5) v Milwaukee 1U @ 1.91 LOSS
Cleveland (+2.5) v New Jersey 1U @ 1.91 WIN
Will most likely take the Nuggets at +1~ when the odds come out on Sportingbet. (Did not bet)

NBA to date: (-1.99 Units) (13/26)

Thank god I went to bed before the Nuggets odds came up.

Taking Phoenix (-4) over Sacramento First Half 1U @ 1.91
Sacramento have lost all of their first halves this season with deficits of 5,8,14,11,9,4 and 6. The 3 lowest deficits (5,4 and 6) were against Minnesota and Memphis.

Orlando (-8) over Toronto First Half 1U @ 1.91
Orlando are a beast of a team at home in the first half. They've won 4/5 home games in the first half by an average margin of 13.6 points. Meanwhile the Raptors have a bunch of injuries (Barbosa, Andersen and Klezia) and their average losing margin in the first half when playing away is 15 points.

Call me crazy but i'm considering the Wolves tonight even after totally burning me whether i select them or go against them. Is that one day rest enough for the Knicks to get their legs back and their shot back? Wolves should be able to dominate down low and have actually been fairly competitive at home. Don't think the loss of Ridnour is hurting them considering Telfair is putting in good performances. Bench is the worry here though, the Knicks have a dominant bench in this matchup and will be after a win after losing 3 straight. Maybe a little too much uncertainty here but i give them a fair shot at covering +3.5.

sblack, how are your Hoyas going to go tonight? Looking for revenge after last years loss to OD? Think i'll play Cleveland St -24 and UCSB -2.5 and maybe Texas Tech -22, nothing big though.

I may have taken advantage of a sportingbet stuff up...

A college game, on sportingbet had odds up for the total game score of William & Mary v Virginia game. The thing is they didn't have a total, so when i clicked the $1.91, the selection came up as Total Game Score (0). I put money on the Overs...

Have taken a photo of it so if they try to bugger me i've got proof of it. We'll see what happens.

EDIT - Now they've got rid of the total option all together.

Cruiser. I wouldn't touch College ball early in the season. With the turnover of players so high, you never know where new teams are at. With the Hoyas. No Monroe, so our offence is an unknown. We have an amazing set of guards, but Clark and Wroght can get cold, so points arent assured. Reigning Big East PoY Freeman should be good as ways. But our forward rotation has big question marks over scoring ability.

ODU are a top 10 defensive team though, as well as last seasons top offensive rebounding team in the country. So maybe look at the unders (don't know game line though)

Think i might stay off for a little bit.

Hopefully they don't refund that bet though and pay out. They've taken the totals down so we'll see what happen.

The Newt got to strongly agree with you I've backed Utah to beat Atlanta today and also put $50 on Utah to win the championship @ $51. That is to good a value if they go as well as I think I will lay them off closer to the playoffs.

Player Market tips

Deron Williams over 21.5 points v Altanta @1.83 - I think the only reason this loses is of the tough games Utah have played recently catchup to them, and they struggle to score. Point guards, at least good ones, have been able to score on Atlanta, mainly due to Bibby not caring about D. Wall, Jennings, Nash and Conley have all scored 19+. So will Deron being. Better scorer, I see 22 being easily attainable.

Andre Miller double. Over both 12.5 points (1.83) and 7.5 assists (2.10) - Andre dropped 16 and 11 just 8 days ago on OKC. Since then he has gone 6p,13a v Toronto, 20p,5a v Lakers and then had a tough day v Deroit with 8p,4a. Westbrook has been allowing PG free reign so far. Last game Holiday put up 27p,11a. So Andre should be in good touch to grab another double double against Westbrook.

NBA Multi1:
Hawks -3
Wizards H2H
Suns -4
Clippers -2.5

@$14.29

Everything is set up for a Hawks win, doubt they can keep this up and now they play a Hawks team who was blown out last game come in motivated at home should cover.

Not convinced at all with Bobcats on the road, so hoping john wall can destroy DJ for the win.

Suns the better team should cover the 1st half at least with the Kings poor starts.

Think Clippers will be too strong for Detroit at home.

bet will most likely stand.

Bet was void, they sent me an e-mail and gave me my money back. Apparently if the game had started and they hadn't sent me an e-mail the bet would stand. But because they got to it before the game started, the bet doesn't stand.

Worth a shot. :p

Actually like those barring the Clippers if Eric Gordon doesn't play. Detroit has been closing the 3's down this year but struggled a little inside. Clippers don't have a paint threat, or not enough of one. Davis, Foye, Kaman out and potentially Gordon with DeAndre Jordan under a cloud. That is a huge task to overcome, i'm on Detroit if Gordon doesn't get up.

yeah its probably a 50/50 for them, ive had nbl and nba bets pay out, when their initial line was clearly wrong.. i suppose they have to void it if there is no line at all lol.

A few games I am not touching today. Utah have been amazing lately and Atlanta poor, but that could completely reverse today, Utah's schedule could catch up with them and surely Atlanta will be pumped for a win today. You would think the Knicks would win but the T-Wolves have improved slightly, refuse to bet on them for a while though after their performance vs Houston.

Today I have gone for:

Phoenix HT -4.5 - 1 Unit @ 1.95

Wizards H2H - 1 Unit @ 1.98

Rox/Pacers OVER 216 - 1 Unit @ 1.90

Pacers -3.5 - 1 Unit @ 1.91

I like the Pacers to win at home against a struggling Rockets defence with a shocking defence, that should see a high scoring game.. hopefully the Pacers shoot like they did vs Denver. :D

The Cats are a struggling road team, and will struggle to beat the John Walls on their home court. Also Sactown are the worst starting team in the NBA I'd imagine, they love their comebacks but think the Suns could get a double digit lead at the half.

Slighlty odd tip here.

Philadelphia first to 10 points v Dallas @2.45 (Sportingbet)

The Sixers are surprisingly good starters. I dunno if we catch teams off guard, but we somehow manage to get out to an early lead. This kinda stat is hard to track, but watching all our games so far, I would say 75% of the games this has come off. Off head, we lead 12-2 v Atlanta. 11-2 v Indiana. 12-4 (around that at least) v Miami. 10-8 v OKC.

Side note actually like the 76ers at the +9 also.
