Speaking of promising youngsters, Ryan Giggs has signed a contract extension which will take him to the end of next season.

Also Evra has apparently agreed (though not yet signed) a four year extension Good news.

Also, Pogba, King, Norwood and Tunnicliffe have all been given squad numbers ahead of the cup tie with Crawley. Interesting. Ferguson was saying in his press conference that he expects the likes of Brown, O'Shea, Fabio, Bébé to get a run out but he might also spring a surprise.

I reckon King'd be the most likely, he's made a first team appearance already and has played at championship level.
