Well I knew it wasn't going to be popular. I just get sick our kids automatically getting labeled as fututre superstars without any runs on the board. What a shithouse ****ing thread.

I can't think of another "tweener" that was tearing up AFL football at 20 years of age. He's going to take time.
Jacks decision making and skill execution are what frustrated me yesterday. They are usually his strengths.
I just think that with the amount of crap he has gone through over the past 2 seasons, he needs a couple of blowout games in an easier setting to tune up the skills and fitness base a little. If he does play seniors, put him forward, ask him to kick some goals and provide a contest.

Just turned 20, too. Given the way he carries himself, his frame and hardness and all of that, it's very tough to remember that in two years he'll still be a kid in football terms.
He's only played 26 games or so as well. He's a baby in terms of AFL footy and, coming back from the setbacks he has, he would've been nervous as hell out there last night. He's back, the crap game's out of the way, he's hopefully confident his legs can withstand the rigours of AFL again now, and he's still a kid.
I hope he plays a blinder against the Pies.
Im guessing 32 possessions, 12 clearances, 8 tackles and 4 goals.

Brayden Norris will be SPECIAL!
If Jack was a cheap footballer whose intention it was to look good and not play instinctive, hard, proper football, he would be judged much more favourably. He'd back off, cheat around contests, cruise into easy spots and float about. As it stands, he does it the hard way and does team things, so his current deficiencies are shown up. It's a credit to the kid.
He'll be outstanding consistently, but he'll need time.
Not entirely sure what you mean.
Does Sidebottom fall under your definition of a cheap footballer? Or does Dale Thomas?
And which team things did Jack do last night?
I am not one of those who are calling for him to be dropped, but I must admit, as unpopular as it sounds, that I don't share your confidence that he will be an outstanding footballer. He may well be, but to me, I haven't seen enough runs on the board to be sure.
You people flutter and sqwuak and cheep like a flock of sparrows dipped in breadcrumbs.
This board is a joke after losses - shameful really.
Im not sure hes ever gonna make it in the midfield.
Is he tall enough to play a Leigh Colbert role in the backline?
