I'm excited as shit guys. Woooooohooooo! Gonna be waving my scarf in everyone's face. Come at me Weagles brahs.
 
WOuldl ove to see the Blues get up in Perth today. Not only would it complete the atmosphere by having 2 all-victorian Prelim finals, but, despite finishing 5th, I think the 3 teams currently through and Carlton have been the top4 sides all year. And hey, if the Pies and Cats knock up both out respectively the following week, well so be it - the ladder worked out the way it should and they have been a rung above both of us.

But boy would the atmosphere be great with 4 well-supportered clubs.
 
Would be nice to have Gibbsy in the team, but I think Carlton can beat any team in the AFL when they have their shit together.

Fingers crossed they come out focused from the start. A nice early lead will do wonders for our confidence.

Had this been played in Melbourne, Gibbs would have played. There is question whether Krooz will play again this season, and they have already put the line through Waite.

I'm actually surprised at the lack of activity over there but I think it's because the media is giving us nothing about the final due to Fremantle stealing Lyon from the Saints.

Either that or, unlike you guys, we've had success in the last half decade and games like this aren't a novelty for us ;)

Has been reported already.

Just having those three guys in the mix again, would make for an interesting week for Geelong.

If we play tight, tough and accountable footy we can and should win. A lot of little things are starting to come together and whilst our team isn't perfect I'm confident we can beat any team, anywhere.

He was in doubt y'day and the word i got was he was out. He wants to play, they club are worried about the risks as we saw last night with Hanners and are leaning towards leaving him out.

I personally think he will play, albeit a minor roll as forward come ruckman.

Also, Jimmy, probably fair to say that the only thing taken as a novelty by West Coast players would be little bags of white powder ;)

1. The AFL only cares about us bringing the game into disrepute when we're a flag chance. Even now I can tell we're not totally legitimate contenders because the AFL isn't try to derail us ;)

2. I said on the Collingwood board last week - winning form is good form. What's more, you were only in the top 4 because you'd played an extra game!

3. That's totally inane. It's like leading for the whole game and losing at the end.

Who would have picked Waite to be kicking a ball anywhere today?

They must still think of him as a possibility or even a foil should we proceed any further this year.
