It's only round 8. Shit. It's a marathon, not a sprint. We lost to last year's 2nd best team by a coupla kicks. Sheesh.

I was like "kick a point Stokes" ow well. Geelong needs to stop tanking. I hope they know if they finish 8th and win the premiership, we still get pick 18 and not 11.

Can't wait to hear Robbo struggling for breath as he writes us off.
Hopefully he makes as big a deal about it as he did with Neil Cordy trying to usurp his throne as the breaker of the GWS not having interest in Cloke.

If anyone here is blaming Hunt, they ARE AN IDIOT!!! Emotional idiots!
We lost this game in the 3rd quarter and the start of the 4th. We waited until half way through the 4th to wake up and play decent footy.
We had 18 behinds, and Collingwood kept us in with stupid misses. Wake up and realise our team played a quarter and a half of good footy all up.

To add to it we kick to empty spaces, and don't man up the opposition, this costs any team HUGE when a turnover occurs.

VENT!!!! And reasons why such poor form!
Annoyed, angry, bit shocked actually. Trying to figure out reasons why, and feellike im making excuses instead of possibly coming to accept that we could be shot.
Dunno, venting makes me feel better about it.
Young guys, 8-10 under 30 games including both our ruckmen...
Still, would love to hear something from the club or the players apart from the normal spiels.

Hopefully the other Pies members don't flog me for this haha...
You're the scariest team in the competition for mine. Played awesome, just a few straighter goalkicks and you would have pummeled us. Always liked Geelong hope we meet again when it counts!!

4-4, looking shaky. We should have won tonight, that's the disapointing thing about it, we SHOULD have won, had more scoring shots, were all over them in the 3rd and the 4th but just couldn't kick straight.
Top 4 gone? yep, 4 loses in 8 games and our fixture doesn't get any easier. We can play a lot better then tonight, GWS would've given us a run tonight we ere that poor.
I think we'll be there in september, but won't do any damage. How a pre-season changes teams.

I'm all for emotion and passion, but the amount of posts in that LIVE thread blaming Josh and saying don't let him play again? Disgusting of people. It's a team sport, and the TEAM didn't play well until close to too late. Mistakes everywhere, misses galore close to goal.
I cannot believe how much Selwood tried his guts out tonight. i lost count how many times he was near the ball all round the ground.

What a roller-coaster ride of a game!
I went from "season's shot", to "we can do this", to "we're useless", to "C'mon you mighty moggies", to heartbreak, to consolation.
Great game.
Shame we couldn't win it and let's hope it's only up from here.

Can't really put the blame on any individuals.
Bad kicking is bad football, we had our chances to win this game and quite comfortably as well. Just makes this loss suck that much more.
Ending of the 3rd quarter and most the of 4th showed what this team's capable of, but playing like that for extended periods seems to be the problem. (Except imagine all those behinds were goals.

Bad luck guys.. Too many missed shots and too many turnovers/breaking down going forward..
You had the better of the play, just couldn't nail the game..
Can't believe Dale Thomas can punch the ball away when it was clearly on the full -letting the Pies get set up for the next play- and no 50m penalty was given..
