What is a 190cm+ and 100kg + plus man meant to do in mid air. Eyes for the footy if it was Andrew Gaff it would not have been a huge deal, also late in the game he did the samething but took the mark. Kinda weird but last time Lynch got suspended, Waters got injured.

Anyway, does anyone have footage of the incident? I think that Lynch got his hands to the ball but didn't take the mark, which should really prove there isn't a timing issue at all.

EDIT: Just saw it. Lynch didn't get hands on ball.

Our argument should be that the guy backing back ruined Lynchs judgement.

Seems so arbitrary to review that contest and hand out a suspension. As said above, when Lynch did take the mark he kneed a guy in the back of the head but that is ok. Surely then the MRP are suggesting that either Lynch was horribly late to the contest and/or didn't have eyes for the ball. Neither of those fit the play I saw.

Went so far as to call him an idiot. Gerard shut him up though when he mentioned that Dunstall, Lynch and Mcluire all said it was 100% fine and he should get off.

He's exactly right though. A Lynch Dunstall and co all played in a period that was encouraged. Its just not that way anymore. How would you feel to watch Jonathon Brown cannon into Darling like that?
