I would have thought they were comfortable with their ruck division stocks.

Yep - and we will meet in the middle.Guys sounds like your as perplexed as us. It makes little sense , unless Geelong know they will lose a ruckman. There have been rumours of a club into Simpson.
I just dont see how it gets done. You will rate him highly and wants high pick or player/s. We would say he's almost a FA and worth little

Dunno - just my opinion, but he would be the highest value player I would trade for the right deal. I am sure he is on the table for the right deal but so would many others in the club for the right deal.So he's as good as gone then gk? The inner-scrotum has spoken?
Meanwhile, Delaney's manager, Greg Size of Deliver Sports Management, told AFL.com.au that Delaney, who is contracted to North until the end of next season, is happy at Aegis Park but would consider a trade to a club that could offer him more senior opportunities.
"There has been strong interest from other clubs but at this stage Luke regards himself as a North Melbourne player," Size said.
"Luke loves playing for North but if a club comes forward and offers him more opportunity to play senior footy then he'd have to consider it.
"At the moment, Luke is picked every time the opposition has a gorilla forward, which is about 10-12 times a year.
"But he's coming into his peak now as a player and wants to cement a senior spot."
A North spokesman told AFL.com.au on Wednesday Delaney was a required player and said the club would not comment on the upcoming trade period.
Here comes another round of supercoach type trade wankage.
We don't need forwards, we need KP backs (spud won't be around for many more years) and pacy mids (to support Wellsy)May involve Gillies or Brown from Geelong.
I suspect you may be right although I have no clue to what you mean.

You are starting to rustle some feathers mate, think were going to have to trade you for JoffaHere comes another round of supercoach type trade wankage.

Damn, I LOVE that ignore button.

Mate, you will attract a LOT of wankage around here when it comes to a McIntosh trade, but the fact is that we have only two ready to go AFL ruckmen. Goldstein and McIntosh.
Fortunately, the club isn't run by complete idiots.
Id agree , you are even slimmer than us although there is no doubt your three are better (include petrie) and perhaps McIntosh is wasted if not your #1 ruck. For you to trade him when there are only so few talls on your list would be almost negligent. Again , it makes not sense.
Q. Have you been linked to GC rucks like Hickey or Nicholls?
