Clearly delusional!
Agree that Johnston is looking good. Saw him play this year and he looked good.Actually, I'm suggesting Johnston is a superstar. The kid has much more natural talent then Kurt Tippett.
Go back to the day he was traded - Swan supporters were fuming. Rightfully so as well, he will hold his value in due time. Can't say the same about T.Armstrong.

He didn't play as a kpf. He has more runs on the board, which you're attempting to argue for Reid / Tippett.White only managed 3 games in your forward line
What were his AFL stats?
Jonstone was fighting to get into a forward line which already had the likes of Walker, Tippett, Porplyzia, Callinan, Jenkins and Mckernan fighting for a spot, and so was forced to bide his time in the SANFL. White couldn't even break into one of the weakest forward lines in the comp. I don't see how you're still confused? In the sanfl
White has played 56 afl games
But we will just give you our most dominant reserves player then?
That's right you can't because you can't see the future. IMO Armstrong is going to play a greater role in the 2013 Swans side and I hope to see him become (over the next few years) an important player in much the same mould as a Malceski. However I cannot see into the future and he may not get another game ever again get traded to StKilda and eventually get selected as an AA ruck... Who knows right? I wasn't happy about losing Johno but at the end of the day it has all worked out. We are the 2012 Premiers for many reasons and one of the most important is our ability to handle ourselves in the trade period and offseason. I will again lay full trust in our recruiters to do the right thing as they have done so many times before.

Stop being childish. What does Johnston have to do with the Tippett trade. I was simply pointing out that White was a long way back in the pecking order hence why crows wouldn't want him. But someone like the dogs or dees might. So mitch morton and pick 22 he kicked about 80 goals in 2013
Your weak forward line didn't win anything, your midfield and backline took care of that! If your weak forward line won the flag, why on earth would the Swans be paying such silly money for Tippett?! hahaThat weak forward line won us the flag...how'd you go with your super forward line?

Although you are forgetting that we got Armstrong and Tommy Walsh with that trade so we are happy with our lot.
The thing that I can't understand about Johnston is why haven't the crows tried him in defense. You are short of tall defenders and it would make him a bit tougher which was the main gripe with him here. Magnificent kick. Could take the kick ins and hit a pass 50 meters easily. Make him get his own ball.
2 years time I think you may have a good one. Which I have no problem with as he would still be struggling to get a game for us and the NEAFL was no place to improve.
) running around back there next year makes it even more sense to play him out on the 50 arch up forward.Let's be honest here, Johnston was behind Lynch for most of the year.

Easy mate. Don't forget this is the Swans board and their forwardline was far from the weakest in the comp.Jonstone was fighting to get into a forward line which already had the likes of Walker, Tippett, Porplyzia, Callinan, Jenkins and Mckernan fighting for a spot, and so was forced to bide his time in the SANFL. Sorry Button, it's easy to forget when you're over here in Candy Land where Jesse White is a star who just hasn't been getting opportunitiesEasy mate. Don't forget this is the Swans board and their forwardline was far from the weakest in the comp.
Your the one who rates johnstone ahead of white on potential
But tippett ahead of reid because of games played and dont take potential as a factor.
Why cant i defend white anyway? Feel free to stop replying its fine with me
No I'm saying currently for both. Currently I believe Johnston to be better then White and Currently Tippett to be better then Reid.He didn't play as a kpf. He has more runs on the board, which you're attempting to argue for Reid / Tippett.

No one's arguing that. The logical fallacy of making one comparison at performance at AFL level and another on potential is being highlighted.Sorry Button, it's easy to forget when you're over here in Candy Land where Jesse White is a star who just hasn't been getting opportunities
