Yep.That he hasn't simply disappeared. That he's lurking (more like sulking!).

Yep.
AGFM, the longer you take to come back & admit you made shyte up, the harder it will be. Come on, man up, as you know you want to be back on this board. You could always change your username to "Can't handle the truth" & all will be forgiven![]()
I don't know.. a name change to "I Make Up the Truth" might be appropriate.Yep.

I know AFGM personally and he did not make it up he had the mail and it turned out not quite fully correct though much of it was.
Just like nearly EVERY bit of rumour on this board, particularly from you Jenny, you are the queen of misinterpretation.

As for me misinterpreting rumors? Wtf?
) at the time he first posted it.Umm.. no. If AFGM were to be believed, Tippett & GC signed a binding contract during the trade window last year - just as many of the uncontracted players signed 12 months before departing their previous club. Such a window did exist, given that Adrian Anderson very publicly closed the loophole which allowed it. As events have proven, no such contract exists now, nor did one ever exist.Maybe there was an understanding with the GC but they didn't offer enough money to satisfy Tippett and his grub manager (perhaps they too thought he'd be happy just to come home and take a slight pay cut...). Obviously Tipstick is all about the $$$.
Things change in footy all the time, every chance AFGM's info was right on the money () at the time he first posted it.

The only agreement which ever existed was the gentleman's agreement, between Tippett and the AFC, allowing him to go home (to GC) with minimal fuss, at the end of 2012.

Could it have been correct and removed due to being illegal?
If you don't come back, it only make it harder for the rest of us to make idiotic statements.
I agree with fabs33, what he was saying was highly plausible, b ut I think the way in which he defended his position simply ruffled a few feathers.I know AFGM personally and he did not make it up he had the mail and it turned out not quite fully correct though much of it was.

You seem to be coping fine
The bit I find amusing is, that AFGM may have been right. My mail from a completely separate source maintains that there was definitely some form of agreement in place with GC. The deal fell over when GC refused to match Adelaide's salary offer, giving both parties an out on the agreement.
I don't think this will ever be able to be proved, or for that matter disproved.
I 100% believe that to be the case.
I've always had the impression that Kurt was pliable and easily led; what Nobes said last night reinforced that even further.
I think Kurt fully intended to go home, but Blucher has made excessive demands of the GC (who believed he actually WANTED TO COME HOME, and thought they'd pay him comparable dollars to what we offered here) who baulked.
In reality, that to is a guess. He was wrong!!
