I made a comment after our game against you that you looked a different side, much more confident and mentally strong.

Last few years you've come to our place and looked a bit timid (bit different at the Emirates I know) but even when you were 1-0 down at ours you looked like you were confident in your ability to fight back.

Don't know where thats gone, and it's not so much the Bradford game but the way you've been the past few months and you look like you've gone back to the timid Arsenal of old.

Those rumours have Been around for months and all start either Stuart Robson who was sacked by Arsenal in the off-season.

I heard the rumours and like you heard they they're coming straight from Robson.

I remember when we beat West Ham 3-1 at Upton Park.. that most Gooners thought we had finally built a side competitive enough to do some serious damage in the Premier League. The Arsenal were in very high spirits after that win.

We ventured to Norwich with inflated heads, got beaten, and it's been pretty much downhill ever since.

I just want to know what specifically has gone wrong since our trip to West Ham.

That's it my friend. They thought they just had to show up and they'd win.

It hurts but don't you just love the FA Cup: it's a "no tomorrow" competition and if you are not switched on, you pay the price.
Apologies. That should of read the League Cup.

According to the most recent edition of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Usmanov has an estimated net worth of £17.3 billion, making him the 39th richest person in the world, well ahead of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in the rich league.

Fair enough. Does kroenke attend many games? It's rare that you seem involved in that respect, would imagine usmanov would be much more hands on.

Wenger has just finished a pretty icy press conference.

Not sure of the exact amount but it would be less then 10, his been to one this season which was against QPR.

Btw I just looked up how many his been to and its four.

On the topic of Usmanov I feel as if he will spend but he will spend the Arsenal way as in putting money into the academy and other projects. But also giving some money to Arsene say 30 million a summer, he won't be like Abromhavic(spelling) where he will spend crazy amounts but he will spend. Though this is a pointless discussion cause it unlikely that he will be the major share holder in the near future though in five years time he may this may be a topic that is discussed.

I wonder if the loss of champions league revenue (if it happens) might accelerate changes in the boardroom. Once you've lost it it's not easy to get it back and you wonder if Kroenke would have the stomach for a rebuild?

If Tottenham/West Brom lose, and we beat Reading, we're 4th on the Premier League table.. 5 wins behind United.. A difference we won't pull back in 1 million years but it's still not a bad way to look at it when you consider the season we've had so far.

I must say Cruyff, you've made a lot of positive comments on this thread. Haha.

I'm not saying things 'might be better' provided they lose and we go to 4th spot.

Just won't look so bad without considering our performance, consistency, attitude, and the stubbornness of the manager/board members.

Obviously.

My Christmas Arsenal wishlist:

- For Wilshere to sign a new deal.
- Sale of Squillaci, Arshavin, Chamakh
- Signing of a defensive mid.
- Replacement for Walcott.

I feel that's realistic... Overall improvement and consistency are no-brainers.

Oh and what do you blokes want to see happen in the new year?
