Does a Game Informer subscription take you straight to level 3 still?
If so, what happens if you're level 2 and get the sub? Do they just add the existing points on top of the upgrade to level 3?

The GI sub does get you a level 3, but you don't get the points/carrots. Lets say you're on 1800 carrots, and get the GI sub, you keep the carrots (and continue to earn them) at the 1800.

If by the end of the 12 month sub, you pass the 4500 mark for an "organic" level 3, you keep the card, if you are below the required carrot level, you can either re subscribe or you get downgraded back to level 2

If you choose to re subscribe, you get another lot of the 1 use vouchers you get for hitting level 3 ($10 extra trade credit and buy 2 get 1 free pre own voucher) and keep the 15% bonus trade credit

So it appears I was at 617 points, now up to 917/1200 (for doing the Library stuff and my Details) for the upgrade.

The big thing that I like about the upgrade is the 10% extra on trade ins.

They've got my PS4 preorder down, but not my GTAV preorder attached to the account so I'll make sure that it is this week.

Yeah the 10% helps, especially when there is a bonus already (like the 30% extra, as it makes it 40% with your level 2)

Thanks for clearing that up.

How much would i get for a wiiu or xbox360 console if i traded it in ?anyone know ?

Had a guy show me an interview with Mr Yoshida that stated Sony was all set to have DRM on the PS4 until they saw the reaction MS got and changed their presentation at E3 and their ideas for the console right there and then

can't find it for the life of me, so not sure if true. But it was a proper website with quotes and all

If you trade the console towards a PS4/XB1 order, you get the 30% extra credit, so a premium Wii U would net you $260, if you have a level 3 EB World card, you'd get $290

Something like this? Not quite that they had DRM ready, but MS helped make their decision easy in the end.

"There were lots of people who gave their opinions on that issue to my Twitter account before E3," Yoshida said. "It's not that our hardware policies are decided strictly based on user reaction like this, but when we were thinking about what we had to bring across and how to bring it across, it was a very useful source."
