Just a complete mindblow. How GOOD.

One observation - Walt is clearly supposed to be dead/presumed dead when he goes to get the ricin at the start. The response of the old lady neighbour was literally like she'd "seen a ghost".

The mimicking of Gus when Lydia was at the car wash was awesome. He's not figuratively Gus now, but in some ways literally.

I feel pointless after reading all these comments. I watched it this afternoon and it's not really fresh in my head. Going to watch it again and will do a full analysis then.

Comments have been great. Love how well people analyse this show.

Also - I reckon the ricin is for himself. Goes back to the old house, ties up loose ends, ready for the final faceoff, gets the ricin for possible suicide.

Ricin takes a while to kill. As far as suicide options itd be a pretty poor way to off yourself. Also i think Walts ego is far too large to ever take that way out

Hopefully this works, posting from phone.

2-3 days to die I believe Walt has said previously. And sounds like a painful way to go as well, the poison would cause a fatal illness. Don't believe it's for himself, Jesse or Hank would be my guess at this stage.

Was interesting, there's two ways that could go IMO. One is that he has indeed used saul's guy to vanish and has faked his own death or something like that. The other is that he's like America's most wanted, on the run, his face is everywhere and he's just shown up right on her doorstep.

Also note the oranges, when Ted wrecked himself, a bowl of oranges toppled over on top of him. Is it a metaphor for death and suffering like in the Godfather?

Top lines so far:

"I'm not in Danger...I am the danger! I am the one who knocks"

"Say my name...Heisenburg you're damn right!"

"tread lightly"

that bit made me think the latter

Go back and watch "tread lightly" again. I didn't pick it up the first time, but there's a whimpering innocence in his voice before he says it... then "tread lightly" drops down two octaves with no facial expression change.

This bloke is mental.

And it's gold.

Just on the ricin. While I don't think he would, he did say he and hank both know he would never see inside a jail cell. If all else fails him, the ricin may come in handy?

initially i thought he meant he could flip and give evidence, then i thought he meant he wouldn't be alive, didn't even cross my mind he'd use the ricin on himself

I just love how Gilligan and co. let all the tension out of the scenario in Hank's garage and immediately fill back up again instantly, in one move. A masterclass of pacing.

My favourite moment was Walt directing Jesse to 'let go of the past'. There's no end to the yarn of bullshit Walt will spin when it comes to manipulating Jesse.
