Some people want to pass the blame all to Pickering because they can't fathom that Buddy may actually decide to leave us based on his decision alone. Buddy's a big boy and has become quite a smart businessman with all of his products out atm. Money talks and it's huge coin to turn down but I hope his mates and the club he loves wins out

I saw the interview too, lots of people say what they think they know but it ends up being wrong so they didn't know after all. What happens if another player comes out and says they know Buddy is leaving, who do we believe? Unless Montagna can produce a signed contract he knows nothing

It is a bit of a stretch, but what do people think of the idea that he's only put off the contract talks so that he can utilize the additional media attention to actually promote his brand and products? He's certainly never received so much constant media attention over the course of a season before and by the looks of things he doesn't seem frustrated with it at all.

Yes, it is interesting that he's had lots of publicity for not signing, and lots of attention for Adidas, the Buddy Boots and that T-Shirt company.

It was Buddy Franklin promoting something called the Buddy Boot.
He's not allowed to do that is he? He's not allowed to have any interests outside of football nor is he allowed to do any sort of media or press at all. Some may get the wrong idea that Buddy is doing some sort of sick type of audition of some sorts for this mysterious GWS... Am I reading too much into hearing this ad or not? Wouldn't want to be jumping at shadows now.
