If he was 2 years younger would be 100% keen on him but he has struggled all year for fitness. Surprised they got rid of Dids as he seemed like he go round for another year at least.

Yeah if it wasn't for Didaks off field stuff there would be significant interest to snap him up! WC days of attracting players with street cred are over.... Even if its only a drive by or two ;)

Steve Malaxos?

Nah, there aren't any other recent examples I can think of, unless you consider Trent Carroll a good get ;)

If you count Stavros as one, then you'd have to count Rob Wiley as another!

The only thing Trent Carroll was good for was ensuring a big bag of goals by the opposition FF.

Still had to go to WP for a year to prove himself though. Wasn't like we picked him up from the Saints straight away.

But if I must, I'll add him to the (short) list.

He averaged 21 pos, 4 marks and a crazy number of tackles. His lowest DT game was 65
We were a better team when he was in the middle. That GC game where he replaced Priddis was the only time we looked dynamic and damaging in the middle. For some strange reason the MC refused to play him the rest of the year. I'm still scratching my head and a little mad about that!
Oh and lets not forget he single handedly gave the Tigers a massive rogering on the w/e. We would be crazy to delist him.

I'm glad it wasnt only me who noticed that. The GC may not be winning as many games as other sides, but they do have a very good midfield, and i thought we did well to match them in that area during that game. I also thought we were much more accountable on the turnover with Hutch in the middle in the other games he played, especially when he lays up to 16 tackles a game to go along with 20 disposals on average. Surely thats got to get you more games of footy? Nope, not at WC it doesnt,. but if you're good honest trier who cant hit a target, you're in! ;):D

Really didn't he have a couple of good years, or runner up in the bnf ? He was better than Siera, Harding, and Prior...

Just because Judge rated him I still thought he was a hack. Being a bit harsh on Sierakowski, he did his knee in his first or second game for us at Kardinya park in the opening minutes. He ended up being ok in the back half of 04 or 03 before he announced his retirement. Harding was shithouse as was Prior.

Yeah fair enough im no Collica fanboi or anything, just thought he showed more than the other 3.
All good :thumbsu:

With Dick, Hams and potentially Newman gone, and with much more pressing draft needs, we'll have absolutely no small/medium forward depth.
If Krakouer would be happy with a one year deal I don't think it would be a bad idea.

From memory siera did his knee in the first five minutes in his first game for us was knocked out in a marking contest I think by King. Prior looked ok until he did his knee about half way through the season similar time to Morrison. Merrenda always seemed to be injured and collica did ok as loose third tall defender

Has had fitness issues this year but tend to agree, a one year deal can't do much harm. I'm sure he will be coming back to WA anyway...
