If the indiscretions were described as boxers, Bootsma would be in the heavyweight division, this guy in the lightweight one - ie: not in the same class (not that either effort is classy in any way). For comparison if they were described in football terms, Bootsma would be a seasoned VFL player, the other guy a promising bottom age TAC debutant.

Didn't mind the look of McGovern for the Weagles on Saturday, big bodied 6'4, takes a grab, hits the packs hard, decent kick on him.

Pretty hard for him to get a look in with Kennedy, Darling, Le-Cras ruling the roost up forward out West.

Would be a first 18 at most clubs, and that's the sort of player we should be going after, he ain't gunna cost the earth.

In terms of individual player - no he's not. But he is our only depth tall. If anyone gets injured we'd be screwed. Giles isn't ready. We'd need to replace him which I'm sure we would (and it's probably be an upgrade)
