I don't know about prevention, but we must have something that cures ACL injuries. Ciaran Byrne recovered from his ACL injury inside a week.Feeling like we're going to be worried about Menzel leaving for the entirety of his career.
Bite the bullet and get the brother over. We've got that thing that's meant to help with ACL prevention don't we?
He's a better forward option than our current ruckmen, not sure he could work alongside Levi though.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-02-07/dogs-resign-big-manRumour, we're interested in Tom Campbell. (WB ruck/forward)
Kreuzer is a better forward and footballer.I'm told by someone at the Dogs.
Whether anything comes of it is another matter entirely.

Dont worry... we would want a second first round pick for Menzel...Don't even mention that![]()
And needlesIf Bomber Thompson coaches Carlton the club motto gets changed to "Hide your Wives"
Ok, I will playSnap![]()
Robert Harvey would be my pickIf you were to think of a replacement for Malthouse -- and I'm thinking of a "franchise" coach, someone fairly young who will create and mold this team for a decade, including someone who comes from the open/attacking school of football -- then who would you suggest? What assistants around the league are worth looking at?
Who is Campbell? No doubt Kreuz is the better footballer, forward is definitely open to debate..
Richo.Any chance of Bomber Thompson being hired as head coach?
Dunno what his contract status is at Essendon. Dunno if he'd want to coach Carlton.
Dunno what Malthouse's contract status at Carlton is either.

I don't see why he can't coach into his 60s. Sir Alex did with United and was fine. You bring up an interesting point, I'm not really sure what the "point" of Malthouse is now. It's pretty clear we won't be challenging for at least 3 or so years. Unless he plans on coaching well into his 60's then he won't be able to see a rebuild through to the end.

He hasn't given any indication that he wants to move on. I honestly think it will comedown to the club supporting him. Will hinge on the state of the side and how Mick has done overall.Never said he couldn't, just unless he plans to keep going that far then there's no point in him being there now.
