Josh Kelly's dad had played 70 odd games for Collingwood I reckon they'd have made a massive song and dance about it predraft then immediately set about getting in his ear about heading back to Vic and playing for them.

..I kinda wish we worked like that. The kid is special, would love to know if we put any effort into seeing us as an option at the end of his initial 2 year contract.

Which incidentally was extended to 3 within a very short time.

Didn't realise McEvoy and Hannebury were North supporters. Both would be handy on the list but especially the latter. Damn.

I like Ats a lot but has Heppell left him for dead as a player?

I think Atley can close the gap again. As much as our ladder position is higher I think their individual players look better developed.

You could mount similar slightly concerning comparisons for Hansen-Hurley and Black-Carlisle also.

I just loved him getting interviewed about anything.
His razor sharp wit could take the most mundane of subjects and make them hilarious - there will never be another comedian like Robin Williams.

Random thought, if we are privileged to have some of our senior players who have been on LTI this year return, should we be less critical if we see disposal/foot skill error's?
