Guardians and Snowpiercer were good. Lucy was aiiiiight, Ex 3 was ordinary (even by its own standards)

Chef

I am sure people make these movies just to mess with gluttons such as myself - I woke up this morning dreaming of that fried ham & cheese sanga Chef cooked for his son & am still fanging for it now.

& that Texas bbq:cry: - I hate you Favreau, hate you...

6.5/10

Neighbors - Comedy featuring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron about a fraternity that moves next door to a young family. Went in not expecting much but this was damn funny. Its nothing we havent seen before, but the humour hit the mark and its probably the best thing Rogen has been in for a few years. Loved it. 8/10

Walk Of Shame. Very average, was about to switch off but Pookie and the crackhouse scene kept me watching with some LOLs.
Banks is damn hot for 40!
It's straight to DVD stuff but when you lower your expectations, sometimes these films become funnier than they are supposed to be.

Begin Again

Not sure why I really cared to give it a go, except for the fact that Ruffalo is involved but it turned out to be a beauty.
Knightley had her moments also but laid the ham on just a little too heavily at times.

Acting aside this still made for a quality story that you couldn't but smile through the majority of it. 7/10

EDIT: Ruffalo looked more Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips) than Coyne himself.

Punch Drunk Love

"The Adam Sandler movie foe people who hate Adam Sandler movies" is an apt review. I never really noticed how angry Adam Sandler can be -- and how often -- until watching this, but yeah, he's definitely got a shtick there, and it's wonderful to not see it played out for laughs.

The Two Faces of January

The Talented Mr Ripley it is not & tbh I don't really get why they bothered making it.

5.5/10

The Experiment/Das Experiment

German movie based on the Stamford Prison experiment. Subtitled, well worth a watch.
