Yeah i hope we get a ref that allows a bit of passion, you need them in derbies. Ben Williams shouldn't be refereeing a third division state league let alone Australia's top flight after his performance in the Iran-Iraq game.

Yep, and his protege Griffiths-Jones, who I hoped would be kept a million miles away from the derby, and who wound up refereeing the Perth v Sydney game. Nek minnit, 3 red cards and 2 penalties in Perth, 10 man Perth v 9 man Sydney (who won). Another over officious twat!

A nice 2 year old filly by Stryker debuted at Sandown yesterday. She ran on into 6th place at $26 and will do better when the races get a bit longer.

Her name is Andrioli and being by Stryker, she is named after this person (apparently):

Didn't manage to catch that game but I was shocked at all the red cards that were given. Congrats on the derby win as well. City just didn't turn up and were completely outclassed on every level.
