Carlton has a way of killing good coaches.

Denis Pagan likes this.
Poor Brett Ratten...I hope he turns out ok after that experience.

Mick Malthouse has told the Carlton faithful today that they will be have a very good year, and that he can't see them losing a game. :drunk:

We always said a VFL side would beat Melbourne.
Yep, the Scum have had their "gutsy, come from behind victory" for the season.

22 rounds of pain coming up for them now.

Quite an entertaining finish to that game.
Although some of the skills displayed throughout were LOL-tastic.

So far he's correct - they haven't lost a H&A game yet!

New Flag Favourites in Radelaide!
Port Adelaide's never before seen levels of fitness will see them overrun Adelaide in the last.

Geez the Bulldogs have got some seriously good and exciting talent coming through...have added a ripping coach as well - exciting times ahead for Dogs supporters.

I'd much prefer Macrae & Bontempelli going forward than Griffen & Cooney....Tough losses to begin with, but huge dividends down the road I reckon....Their stable of small running types, while being very young, compares equally with the Brizzy mosquito squadron IMO.

Their going to be interesting to watch this year.

There's a very slim chance all "big four" clubs might axe their coach this year.

Hird is gone if the 31st March verdict goes as expected.
Malthouse's papers are all but stamped if Carlton has another horrid year. Which is on the cards.
Murmurings against Buckley will rise if they go finish close to the bottom 4 which after losing Beams, Lumumba & Maxwell is possible.
Hardwick is probably the safest but if Richmond misses the finals fans will remember last year's horror first half before sneaking into the eight.
