Amazing how for 5 months of the preseason people give TG such a hard time and than after a preseason loss it's like we've all morphed into him.

At least TG is constructive to some degree and gives reason, most now just want blood over a silly preseason game.

I really hate this board so much, I joined in the off season so I never really witnessed how shitty it was.
We lose a practice game and apparently were in "crisis mode" There are so many users here that are just pathetic, the coach and president need to be sacked because we lost a game that literally meant nothing. I've seen people say they are ashamed to be called a Collingwood supporter after that game, seriously you people are just a parasite to the club and if we win our first few games I'm sure you'll be back on the band wagon. It deeply saddens we that as a Collingwood support I have to be associated with some of you.

There are so many quality posters and really good people here on BF and I feel sorry for you guys having to put up with this trash.

If you're calling for anyone's head after a practice match you should go have a cold shower and a take a ******* long nap.

But most people who want him sacked are not basing it on a practice game. They wanted him sacked last year and this is just another pebble on the mound of reasons why he should go. I mean face it its not like we have to judge him on 2015. We do have 4 years of evidence by now. Now if you previously loved bucks and after a practice match you think he is crap then I agree your an idiot.

Tell that to the entire membership department that was fired a couple of years ago. Look at the board. Look at the systems and processes at the club. Its a well run high performance environment that is second to none in the afl. Then only clubs more successful in recent times have had the advantage of some amazing drafting over ten years ago or an extended salary cap.

I cannot believe all this crying and soaking over a practice match... 5 goals down and coming hard in the third quarter in the season proper do you really expect to see varcoe crisp and thomas as our centre square midfielders?

It was a practice match and the dogs need to show something to try and generate desperately needed funds.

That said there are lots of issues. Too many players who have been recruited who can't kick, a lack of basic footy knowkedge, a struggling game plan and just an overall sense of purpose.

Eddie will not do it, he will not admit he was wrong.

If/ when he goes it should only be when we have a replacement already over the line. We aren't Richmond or St Kilda and are above sacking coaches on a whim.

People need to get a grip, there isn't a coach in the world who will get more or less out of these guys. It's a list in transition and that's a fact.

Having a massive sook because we're doing what every single club in the history of football has done in turning over our list, but apparently we've become such jaded and clueless frothers that we can't see the forest from the trees.

Spectacularly unbelievable, just feeds so well into the general myth about Collingwood supporters being entitled toothless idiots.

Its funny now remembering that many people though when bucks took over he would place a premium on skills. Makes me also wonder why people think Daics would be a good coach. Just because you have skill doesn't mean you can teach it.

Last year was a hard year to rate based in the injuries. 2015, assuming a normal run with injuries, will be a better year to judge.

if things go fom bad to worse are we better off waiting to the end of the season or getting a new guy in to coach?

I have been pretty supportive of Bucks to date but for the life of me can't see what they are trying to do out there.

I don't mind taking a backward step or two for long term gain but the way we are going it could be a while out of the finals.

Ok smart arse. 3 years. I know that is a huge difference.

Also if you really believe that no coach could possibly do better than bucks then you are the toothless idiot. So all coaches are exactly the same or you think Bucks is the best coach in the league? Which is it?

And that has nothing to do with turning over the list. I don't even expect that we have to make the eight. But there are clearly areas which buckley could improve our performance. I don't know if you realised but Bucks isn't the list manager. He is the coach and he does have an effect on performances.

A lot of people quote this but how many of those have been recruited since Bux was coach? Adams about the only one who has a weakness there.

I'd give Bucks until halfway through the season. Don't base performance on wins necessarily, but on the football that we are playing. If we go down narrowly in a few games but are playing a good brand of footy, then that'd keep me happy.
