Joking or? Smith can play very similar he just doesn't get put in the guts enough but similar off half back, Kerridge himself also. Sloane is similar in the guts and down forward to Gibbs.

I think he's a seagull who costs as many goals as he scores with his poor positioning, no pressure and matador approach to letting guys run off him. He's the classic only one way player, and I don't reckon too many opposition coaches would care if snuck a couple a game. Not the way he slinks off getting cheapies behind the pack.

I think the 50 game thing is dumb. He's 26 ****ing years old. He's closer to the end of his career than the start. It's dumb to talk about how few games he's played in that context because you're implying he's going to get a whole lot better.

He isn't. At that age he's approaching who he is.

Argue that you think who he is is just great all you want, but spare me the 50 game rubbish

If that pick 14 eventuates there is no way I'd have it on the table if Darcy Tucker is available in that range in next year's draft, already as good as Gibbs skills wise and IMO a better prospect than Brad Crouch was at a similar stage of development. This kid is very special.
