Keep drafting kids, take some risks at the draft, unlike the safe vanilla options in the past
Recruit big bodies and big mids, recruit some speed, play more direct

Really well you think if he stayed he would be as good? Besides he cost the club sponsorship money as well as been a dud for us.Sometimes a good kick in the backside can bring out the best of you so it might have worked for him. Any other talls we got rid of recently that have excelled?

I can't think of many White for the woods but he isn't any better than he was a swans i think he's even worse. Daws for melb not much better than he was at woods, If you are talking about talls that moved on cause of the $ signs eg Franklin i think they don't count

Agree, that's why I don't think you trade talls, any that are decent are too valuable and they just take so long to click that you need a lot of patience... An average tall today in 2 years with a better side could be the difference?
They are like pine cones, plant them and forget them and hope that one day they grow into amazing pine trees, but you need time and patience.
Look at Rance, once an absolute spud now AA, vickers has talent but is currently a spud, elton has talent as does mcbean,

Rance was never a spud except for some morons that could not envision his development.

It comes down to whether your recruiting prowess selects a dud or not when recruiting IMO and to a lessor extent development

The point was that the club wouldn't, a disgruntled player is far worse than a sook. That's why no club has ever matched a restricted free agency offer and trade players who request trade around 75% of the time. Gws were never going to keep boyd and dogs were never going to keep griffin. This is all hypothetical at the moment anyway.
