I just read the heraldsun afl paper regarding on our main trade for this they saying industry source we have got player a line up with us being so quite about it will allow us to our prefe backman in to play ruck next year guess we in the month ahead who that player is time will tell who is the ?

What Liam Duggan from Wce some has said on the draft and trade board this morning hasn't settled in Perth and what to come home to us this year do we get this year and offer 1 rd selection from next year draft one ?would any club what Will and offer us a pick in third round this year and pay part off his salary to get the deal done ?

Psssssssssst... over... here! He...was....extracting...the...urine.

Menzel had lars at sixteen, so he is a big no for me, Mayes
or Crozier or Mason Wood would be better than Menzel. We
will see soon enough I am sure our scouts are out there
bothering the livestock.o_O

I'd take Mayes before Menzel, but no way in hell is Crozier or Mason ****ing Wood better than him. With or without his knee.

Menzel is going to be a star. Stevie J type. Out of all the (realistic, so not Duggan/Wright) names mentioned in this thread he's the most attractive to me by a mile.

2 recent examples to consider:

1. Brisbane recruit martin. How has that worked for their first round pick ruckman that they spent almost a decade developing?? Completely devalued luenberger.

2. Port trade for Ryder. Lobbe (in all Australian discussions last year) now playing sanfl. Completely devalued.
Whilst mindful of that, none of our ruckman are as good as those two I would say. I have been impressed by Campbell and Roughie. Minson as well but he's clearly being sidelined. Cordy must be delisted. Roughie would still get games with Martin in the side in some position. The biggest problem is if Campbell continues to show improvement we could be stunting his growth, though if these next three games are good ones from him maybe any trade would no longer be seen as improtant.

I also think that Martin could come relatively cheap if we could get Minson interested in going North, a package of him and a second rounder could potentially work could it not? Maybe I'm oversimplifying and undervaluing Martin but that's a trade that would work well for us.

Just out of interest Fronk, who do you see as our number 1 ruckman (or our ruck set up) going forward?

So essentially what the process should be regarding ruckmen is the following:

- Don't trade for cover, or someone better, as it'll devalue the incumbent?

Looney is an injury-ravaged ruckman and Lobbe is a Minson-style one trick pony.

We don't known who main trade is much like Boyd from last year know here no person said anything to here knew like the club have kept everything close to the chest all we may end getting need up with a very special player we have to wait for October this year to find out but it could be worth gold

With Wallis looking like a genuine gun of the future (and present), a major ball winner in the midfield. Could we trade Libba for a player of need? There would be plenty of clubs circling a quality player like Libba and in terms of mids I think we have a good set-up already.

We know about his off-field issues and quite frankly, after a bit of convincing I'm in the camp of trading him out for a player of need. Thoughts?

I'd be down to trade Libba but after the knee reco and the bad press recently his value would be at rock bottom.

If he comes back strong next year, produces an AA year (yet his wayward off-field behaviour continues), then he should be pawned off for the highest value.

Go to the shed, get a hammer and smash every finger that was used to type that.
